Description
Two-component waterborne wood seal primer, seal coating formed by two-component waterborne wood seal primer and product The application is a divisional application of Chinese patent application 202110592326.8 with application date of 2021, 5 and 28. Technical Field The invention relates to a two-component water-borne wood sealing primer, a sealing coating formed by the two-component water-borne wood sealing primer and an article comprising the sealing coating. Background Wood products, including wood furniture, are the most commonly used products in production and life, and are mainly made of wood substrates. It is known that wood substrates have special textures, natural colors, and other materials that are incomparable with each other. However, the wooden base material inevitably has characteristics of complex structure, uneven material quality, porosity, swelling and shrinking upon water, and containing undesirable substances such as grease, tannin and other colored impurities. The cationic resin can interact with substances such as tannic acid and pine oil in wood to generate a salt substance which is fixed on an interface by a coating and cannot migrate and exude under the conditions of high temperature and high humidity, so that the coating is prevented from changing color, and a good sealing effect is achieved. Thus, cationic resins are important film forming materials for woodware primer sealers. In the woodware primer seal market, the cationic resin-containing primer occupies about 90% of the market share. Although the single component primer containing the cationic resin has remarkable effect in sealing tannin, the primer has obvious disadvantages such as low hardness, poor grindability and the like. Therefore, there is a need in the wood lacquer field for a sealer which has good sealing effect and at the same time gives a compromise in the grindability of the lacquer film. Disclosure of Invention In one aspect, the present invention provides a two-part waterborne wood sealer comprising a film-forming resin composition comprising at least one aqueous cationic resin emulsion and optionally at least one additional additive, and a B-part curing agent composition comprising at least one polyisocyanate. The component A and the component B are mixed according to a certain weight ratio and then used. In certain embodiments of the invention, the weight ratio of the a component to the B component is in the range of 100:5 to 100:15. In an embodiment of the invention, the at least one aqueous cationic resin emulsion comprises at least one acrylic resin, at least one polyurethane acrylate (PUA), at least one polyurethane resin, at least one epoxy resin, or any combination thereof. In an embodiment of the invention, the curative composition comprises at least one nonionic aqueous polyisocyanate. In other embodiments of the present invention, the curative composition comprises at least one solvent-based polyisocyanate and at least one co-solvent. In still other embodiments of the present invention, the curative composition comprises at least one nonionic aqueous polyisocyanate, at least one solvent-borne polyisocyanate, and at least one co-solvent. In another aspect, the present invention relates to a sealer coating formed from a two-component waterborne wood sealer according to the present invention. In an embodiment according to the invention, the pencil hardness of the sealing coating according to the invention is at least F according to GB/T6739-2006. In addition, the present invention provides an article comprising: a wood substrate having at least one major surface, and A sealer coating formed on at least a portion of the major surface, formed from a two-component waterborne wood sealer primer according to the present invention. The inventors have surprisingly found that by modifying the conventional one-component coating composition containing a cationic resin, matching with a suitable polyisocyanate curing agent, the original one-component coating composition is upgraded to a two-component coating composition, so that not only is the function of the cationic resin to seal acidic substances such as tannins and the like maintained, but also the performance of the film to seal grease is improved, and more importantly, the hardness and the sanding property of the film are improved. Based on the water-based cationic resin emulsion, the invention creatively selects at least one polyisocyanate as a curing agent, upgrades the original single-component cationic seal primer coating composition into a two-component coating composition, not only maintains the function of cationic resin seal tannin, but also improves the property of sealing grease of a paint film, improves the hardness and the polishing property of the paint film, and provides a new thought for the selection of the curing agent in the seal primer for the two-component woodware containing cationic resin, which has not been recognized before the inven
