Abstract
One or more methods of using location-based trivia questions with emotional response capabilities in a vehicle include initiating one or more location-based trivia questions based on Global Positioning System (GPS) coordinates and detecting active players using one or more microphones within the vehicle. Based on the player name and the seat locations, the method includes customizing trivia questions for one or more of the seat locations. The method may further include assessing the player's emotion by analyzing voice tones and speech patterns and basing the emotion on one or more trivia questions and/or querying the player's name via microphone(s) at the beginning of the trivia questions and/or configuring the number of channels and processing chain topology based on the number of active players detected and their seat positions.

Claims (10)
- 1. A method of using location-based trivia questions and answers with emotional response capabilities in a vehicle, comprising: playing one or more location-based trivia questions in the vehicle based on Global Positioning System (GPS) coordinates from a GPS receiver; detecting player names and corresponding seat positions of active players in a vehicle using voice-based active player detection based on one or more microphones within the vehicle, and Based on detecting player names and their corresponding seat positions, trivia questions are customized for one or more of the seat positions.

The method of using location-based trivia questions and answers with emotional response capabilities of claim 1, further comprising: Assessing passenger emotion of active player by analyzing voice tone and speech pattern of active player, and The assessed passenger emotion of the active player is used as a basis for one or more trivia questions.
- 3. The method of using location-based trivia questions and answers with emotional response capabilities of claim 2, further comprising: At the beginning of playing the trivia question, player names of active players are queried via one or more microphones.

The method of using location-based trivia questions and answers with emotional response capabilities of claim 3, further comprising: The number of lanes and the processing chain topology are configured based on the number of active players detected and the corresponding seat positions of the active players.
- 5. The method of using location-based trivia questions with emotional response capabilities of claim 4, wherein the GPS further comprises retrieving trivia questions based on a current location, route, and/or upcoming destination of the vehicle.

The method of using location-based trivia questions and answers with emotional response capabilities of claim 5, further comprising: use of an audio processing system or acoustic noise reduction system to continuously ensure clear speech capture and accurate response analysis includes use of one or more of the following components: Acoustic echo cancellation; Acoustic noise reduction; Separating a sound source; A speech recognition engine, and/or One or more Large Language Models (LLMs).

The method of using location-based trivia questions and answers with emotional response capabilities of claim 6, further comprising: addressing active players by player name via one or more contest managers, and/or customizing questions and/or tasks based on the particular corresponding seat locations of the active players.

The method of using location-based trivia questions and answers with emotional response capabilities of claim 1, further comprising: One or more user travel histories are used such that, via a contest manager, at least some of the trivia questions associated with one or more travel destinations that are part of the one or more travel histories are determined using the user travel histories.

A non-transitory computer-readable storage medium having instructions recorded thereon for using location-based trivia questions and answers with emotional response capabilities in a vehicle, wherein execution of the instructions comprises causing: performing a location-based play of a trivia question in a vehicle based on Global Positioning System (GPS) coordinates; detecting a player name and corresponding seat position based on performing voice-based active-player detection using one or more microphones within the vehicle; Customizing trivia questions for one or more of the corresponding seat locations based on detecting the player's name and its corresponding seat location; assessing the passenger emotion of the active player by analyzing the voice tones and speech patterns of the active player; The assessed passenger emotion is used as a basis for one or more trivia questions and the player name is queried via one or more microphones at the beginning of the trivia questions; Configuring one or more of a channel number and a processing chain topology based on the detected number of active players and their seat positions, and Retrieving GPS, retrieving relevant trivia questions via a GPS receiver based on the current location, route and/or upcoming destination of the vehicle.
