Abstract

Claims (9)
- 1. An automatic gain control method for a radio frequency expansion unit, comprising the steps of: the radio frequency expansion unit receives the calibration signal and detects to obtain a detection power value; Comparing the detection power value with a reference power value pre-stored in the radio frequency expansion unit, and dynamically adjusting the gain of a gain control circuit in the radio frequency expansion unit according to the comparison result to enable the detection power value to gradually approach the reference power value; when the difference between the detection power value and the reference power value is within a preset threshold value range, the current gain value of the gain control circuit is fixed, and the insertion loss of the radio frequency cable is automatically compensated.
- 2. The automatic gain control method for a radio frequency expansion unit according to claim 1, further comprising controlling a host unit to transmit a calibration signal of a predetermined power at power-on start-up before said radio frequency expansion unit receives the calibration signal.
- 3. The automatic gain control method for a radio frequency expansion unit according to claim 1, wherein the calibration signal is an FSK modulated signal generated via an FSK modem chip.

The method according to claim 1, wherein the step of dynamically adjusting the gain of the gain control circuit in the rf extension unit according to the comparison result comprises gradually increasing the gain of the gain control circuit by a control signal until the difference between the detected power value and the reference power value is within a preset threshold.
- 5. The automatic gain control method for a radio frequency expansion unit according to claim 1, wherein said reference power value is stored in an EEPROM memory of said radio frequency expansion unit.

A gain automatic control system for implementing the gain automatic control method for a radio frequency expansion unit according to any one of claims 1 to 5, characterized in that the system comprises: a calibration signal generation module for generating and transmitting a calibration signal of the predetermined power when the system is started; the power detection module is used for receiving and detecting the power of the calibration signal transmitted by the cable; A storage module for storing the reference power value; a gain control module including the gain-adjustable gain control circuit and an amplification circuit for applying the fixed gain; and the control module is respectively connected with the power detection module, the storage module and the gain control module and is used for executing dynamic adjustment and gain fixation.

Background With the development of offshore communication technology, the carrier-based platform has very high requirements on the reliability and coverage distance of wireless communication. Disclosure of Invention In view of at least one of the foregoing drawbacks and the needs of the prior art, the present application provides a method, system, apparatus, and storage medium for automatically controlling gain of a radio frequency expansion unit, which solve at least one of the problems of the prior art.
