Abstract

Exemplary embodiments of the present disclosure relate to solutions for measurements related to Conditional Handoffs (CHO) with candidate Secondary Cell Groups (SCGs). In one aspect, a first network device performs a measurement for each source and target primary cell (PCell) pair, the measurement providing a distribution of intervals, and intervals of inter-primary-node CHO's having at least one candidate SCG, and the intervals in the intervals indicate a pair of source primary secondary cell (PSCell) identity and target PSCell identity to which a respective CHO having at least one candidate SCG is to be performed, or a target PSCell identity to which a respective CHO having at least one candidate SCG is to be performed.

The first network device includes at least one processor and at least one memory storing instructions that, when executed by the at least one processor, cause the first network device to perform at least, for each source and target primary cell (PCell) pair, a measurement providing a plurality of intervals, and an interval distribution of Conditional Handovers (CHO) among a plurality of primary nodes (MNs) having at least one candidate Secondary Cell Group (SCG), wherein a source PCell in a source and target PCell pair is associated with the first network device, and wherein an interval in the plurality of intervals indicates a pair of a source primary secondary cell (PSCell) identity and a target PSCell identity to which a respective CHO having at least one candidate SCG is to be performed, or a target PSCell identity to which a respective CHO having at least one candidate SCG is to be performed. In a second aspect, a method is provided. The method comprises performing, for each source and target PCell pair, a measurement providing a plurality of intervals, and an interval distribution of a plurality of inter-MN CHO s with at least one candidate SCG, wherein the source PCell in the source and target PCell pair is associated with a first network device, and wherein an interval in the plurality of intervals indicates a pair of a source PSCell identity and a target PSCell identity to which a respective CHO with at least one candidate SCG is to be performed, or a target PSCell identity to which a respective CHO with at least one candidate SCG is to be performed. In a third aspect, an apparatus is provided. The apparatus includes means for performing, for each source and target PCell pair, a measurement providing a distribution of intervals among a plurality of inter-MN CHO s with at least one candidate SCG, wherein the source PCell in the source and target PCell pair is associated with a first network device, and wherein an interval in the plurality of intervals indicates a pair of source PSCell identity and target PSCell identity to which a respective CHO with at least one candidate SCG is to be performed, or a target PSCell identity to which a respective CHO with at least one candidate SCG is to be performed. In a fourth aspect, there is provided a non-transitory computer readable medium comprising program instructions for causing an apparatus to perform at least the method according to the second aspect. In a fifth aspect, there is provided a computer program comprising instructions which, when executed by an apparatus, cause the apparatus to perform at least the method according to the second aspect.
