A light emitting display device is disclosed. The light emitting display device includes a substrate including a plurality of first to third sub-pixels, a first electrode at each of the plurality of first to third sub-pixels, a bank covering a portion of an anode electrode, the bank exposing each of the plurality of first to third sub-pixels, a first spacer structure on the bank, a second spacer structure spaced apart from the first spacer structure on the bank, a common layer on the anode electrode, the bank, the first spacer structure, and the second spacer structure, and a second electrode on the common layer, wherein the first spacer structure includes a first pattern surrounding each of the plurality of first sub-pixels, a second pattern surrounding each of the plurality of second sub-pixels, and a third pattern surrounding each of the plurality of third sub-pixels, and wherein the first spacer structure further includes an extension portion disposed between at least two of the plurality of first to third sub-pixels.

Claims (20)

  1. 1. A light emitting display device comprising: a substrate including a plurality of first sub-pixels, a plurality of second sub-pixels, and a plurality of third sub-pixels; A first electrode at each of the plurality of first sub-pixels, the plurality of second sub-pixels, and the plurality of third sub-pixels; A bank covering a portion of the anode electrode, the bank exposing each light emitting portion of the plurality of first sub-pixels, the plurality of second sub-pixels, and the plurality of third sub-pixels; a first spacer structure on the dykes; a second spacer structure on the dykes spaced apart from the first spacer structure; A common layer over the anode, the dykes, the first and the second spacer structures, and A second electrode on the common layer, Wherein the first spacer structure includes a first pattern surrounding each of the plurality of first sub-pixels, a second pattern surrounding each of the plurality of second sub-pixels, and a third pattern surrounding each of the plurality of third sub-pixels, and Wherein the first spacer structure further comprises an extension disposed between at least two of the plurality of first sub-pixels, the plurality of second sub-pixels, and the plurality of third sub-pixels.

  3. 3. The light emitting display device of claim 1, wherein each of the first, second, and third patterns comprises at least one open area.
  4. 4. A light emitting display device according to claim 3, wherein the at least one opening area of the first pattern and the at least one opening area of the second pattern are opposite to each other.
  5. 5. A light emitting display device according to claim 3, wherein the second spacer structure is disposed adjacent to the at least one open area.
  6. 6. The light emitting display device of claim 1, wherein the second electrode is disposed on at least one side surface of the common layer over the first spacer structure and at least one side of the first spacer structure.
  7. 7. The light emitting display device of claim 1, wherein the first spacer structure has an inverted cone shape and the second spacer structure has a forward cone shape.
  8. 8. The light emitting display device of claim 1, wherein the first electrode partially overlaps the first spacer structure.
  9. 9. The light emitting display device of claim 1, wherein the first electrode partially overlaps the second spacer structure.
  10. 10. The light-emitting display device according to claim 1, wherein the light-emitting portions of the first, second, and third sub-pixels have different shapes, respectively.

The light-emitting display device according to claim 1, wherein the common layer comprises at least one of a hole injection layer, a hole transport layer, an electron blocking layer, a light-emitting layer, a hole blocking layer, an electron transport layer, an electron injection layer, and a charge generation layer.
  12. 12. The light emitting display device of claim 1, the first spacer structure and the second spacer comprising different materials.
  13. 13. The light emitting display device of claim 1, wherein a width of the second spacer structure is greater than a width of the first spacer structure and a height of the second spacer structure is greater than a height of the first spacer structure.
  14. 14. The light emitting display device of claim 1, wherein the second spacer structure is disposed between adjacent ones of the plurality of third sub-pixels.
  15. 15. The light emitting display device of claim 1, wherein the third pattern surrounds all sides of the light emitting portions of the plurality of third sub-pixels.
  16. 16. The light emitting display device of claim 1, wherein the extension is disposed between the first pattern and the second pattern, and the extension is parallel to the first pattern between the first subpixel and the second subpixel.

The light emitting display device includes a plurality of layers in each of the light emitting devices, and in this case, in order to avoid the use of a fine metal mask, the light emitting display device has a common layer commonly formed in each pixel or sub-pixel. Due to the common layer commonly provided in the pixels or sub-pixels, current may flow to neighboring pixels or sub-pixels through the two-dimensionally extending common layer. Disclosure of Invention Accordingly, the present invention relates to a light emitting display device that can prevent lateral leakage current using a structure provided on a bank. An object of the present invention is to provide a light emitting display device that can define a structure for dividing a common layer into regions corresponding to sub-pixels using a structure provided on a bank without using a separate mask, and thus can prevent lateral leakage current between adjacent sub-pixels. Additional advantages, objects, and features of the invention will be set forth in part in the description which follows and in part will become apparent to those having ordinary skill in the art upon examination of the following or may be learned from practice of the invention. The objectives and other advantages of the invention will be realized and attained by the structure particularly pointed out in the written description and claims thereof as well as the appended drawings. To achieve these objects and other advantages and in accordance with the purpose of the invention, as embodied and broadly described herein, a light emitting display device includes a substrate including a plurality of first to third sub-pixels arranged adjacent to each other, each of the first to third sub-pixels including a light emitting portion and a non-light emitting portion configured to surround the light emitting portion, first electrodes covered by a bank and respectively disposed in the first to third sub-pixels to expose the corresponding light emitting portion, a first spacer structure having an inverted cone shape on at least one side of each of the light emitting portions configured to surround the first to third sub-pixels on the bank, a common layer structure on the first electrodes and the first spacer structure and being disconnected at edges of the first spacer structure, and a second electrode on the common layer structure. In another aspect of the present invention, a light emitting display device includes a substrate including a plurality of light emitting parts and a non-light emitting part between the light emitting parts, first electrodes respectively disposed in the light emitting parts, a bank configured to selectively overlap the first electrodes and disposed in the non-light emitting parts, a first spacer structure having an inverted cone shape between adjacent light emitting parts on the bank, the first spacer structure configured to have an opening region formed in a virtual closed loop configured to surround at least one of the light emitting parts and at least one side of each of the light emitting parts, a common layer structure located on the first electrodes and the first spacer structure and being opened at an edge of the first spacer structure, and a second electrode located on the common layer structure.
