Description

Security element with combined security features Technical Field The invention relates to a security element with a combined security feature for protecting security papers, value documents and other data carriers, a method for producing such a security element, and a value document or security document with such a security element. Background Data carriers, for example value or identification documents, but also other valuables, such as branded goods, are often provided with security elements for protection, which enable the authenticity of the data carrier to be checked and at the same time serve to prevent unauthorized copying. In this connection, it is known to use luminescent materials for protecting valuable or identity documents. For example, the presence of the luminescent material can be checked by means of an ultraviolet lamp. A security printing pattern with a plurality of regions is known, for example from document EP 1 567 358 B2, which exhibit the same color impression under white light, for example daylight, but different color impressions in the luminescence under additional UV excitation. Furthermore, it is known that the color impression of luminescent printing pigments generally varies as a result of aging and environmental conditions, and that the intensity and color impression of the different luminescence may again vary at different speeds. Thus, with the conventional luminous characteristics of the security element, many patterns which are easily recognizable by an observer due to their color impression or their multicolor combination cannot be realized because of the lack of color stability. Disclosure of Invention The object of the present invention is to overcome the disadvantages of the prior art and, in particular, to propose a data carrier with a luminescent security element having high security against forgery and an attractive visual appearance. Summary of the invention 1. In a first aspect the invention provides a security element for protecting security papers, documents of value and other data carriers having a combined security feature comprising at least one coloured image pattern, wherein The combined security feature displays a first image pattern with a 2D or 3D appearance under normal illumination of visible light, and Displaying a second image pattern having a 3D appearance under mixed illumination of visible light and ultraviolet light, -Wherein the combined security feature has at least one color layer having a visually visible color for producing the first image pattern and at least one luminescent pigment layer arranged above and/or below the color layer, which luminescent pigment layer under UV light excitation together with the color layer produces the second image pattern. In the context of the present description, normal illumination means visible light in the spectral range 380 nm to 780 nm, especially natural or artificial daylight, indoor illumination. UV light refers to light having a wavelength in the range of 200 nm to 380 nm, particularly light having an emission peak wavelength of 254, nm or 365, nm. The combined security feature can also be seen with pure UV illumination without normal illumination, wherein a change in information occurs when switching from normal illumination to UV illumination, in which change in information a three-dimensional appearance can be seen even with pure UV illumination. The combined security features may also display pseudo 3D effects separately instead of a three dimensional appearance. 2. A preferred embodiment is characterized in that the first image pattern shows a 2D appearance and the second image pattern shows a 3D appearance, which 3D appearance forms a spatial extension of the first image pattern. For example from a planar triangle (2D appearance) to a prism or tetrahedron (3D appearance), or from a square (2D appearance) to a pyramid or truncated pyramid (3D appearance). Other advantageous examples are given below. 3. A preferred design is the security element according to claim 1, characterized in that the first image pattern shows a 3D appearance and the second image pattern shows a 3D appearance, the 3D appearance forming a spatial variation of the first image pattern. For example, spatial objects with angular viewing (viewing from left or right), illumination (light illuminating from front or back), or contrast variation (low contrast versus high contrast) or color appearance variation (gray versus color) are shown. Other advantageous examples are given below. 4. The security element according to at least one of items 1 to 3 is characterized in that the luminescent pigment layer emits white luminescent light under UV excitation and/or the luminescent pigment layer emits different luminescent colors regionally under UV excitation. 5. The security element according to at least one of items 1 to 4 is characterized in that the luminescent pigment layer is transparent or translucent in the visible spectral rang
