Abstract

Claims (20)
- 1. The vehicle seat (1) according to claim 1, characterized in that the further seat adjusting means is a seat depth adjusting device (15C) for setting a seat depth, a calf support adjusting device (15D) for setting a calf support, a backrest head adjusting device (15E) for setting a backrest head (151), a side cheek adjusting device (15F) for setting a side cheek (152) or a lumbar support adjusting device (15G) for setting a lumbar support (153).

Vehicle seat (1) according to any of the preceding claims, characterized in that the further seat adjusting means comprise a drive means (3) by means of which the weight acting on the seat part assembly (10) can also be determined, wherein the control system (14) is arranged to mutually cancel out the individual results obtained by the two drive means (3).
- 6. Vehicle seat (1) according to claim 5, characterized in that the individual results or the quantities derived therefrom are added during the counteracting process.

Vehicle seat (1) according to claim 5 or 6, characterized in that the control system (14) comprises a central control device (141) which communicates in each case with one control device (35) of the drive means (3) to obtain the respective result from the control device (35) of the drive means (3).

Vehicle seat (1) according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the parameter is an electrical parameter, in particular a current strength, a voltage or a power and/or that the parameter indicates a torque and/or that the parameter indicates a maximum rotational speed reached during adjustment.
- 12. The vehicle seat (1) according to any one of claims 1 to 10, characterized in that the parameter indicates an adjustment path traveled in a specific time or an adjustment time required for a specific adjustment path.

- 15. Vehicle seat (1) according to claim 14, characterized in that the model assigns a value of the active weight to each possible value of the parameter of a plurality of possible setting positions of the height adjustment device (12).
- 16. Vehicle seat (1) according to claim 14 or 15, when related to claim 13, characterized in that the model assigns independently to each possible value of the parameter an adjustment in relation to the first direction (R1) and an adjustment in relation to the second direction (R2).

Vehicle seat with integrated weight detection The proposed solution relates to a vehicle seat, a system with a vehicle seat, a method, a corresponding computer program product and a non-transitory computer readable storage medium. Some functions in vehicles today are based on seat occupancy detection. If the vehicle seat is occupied, the control device in the vehicle periodically checks whether the corresponding seat belt is also attached. Furthermore, the triggering of the airbag may be associated with a seat occupancy. In some cases, this or other functions may be improved if it is not only detected whether the vehicle seat is occupied in any way, but also if the weight acting on the vehicle seat is quantified. Thus, for example, if the vehicle seat is occupied by an object (e.g., a pocket) rather than a passenger, an unbelted alert may be omitted. In addition, the triggering of the air bag can be adjusted according to the weight of the passengers so as to achieve the optimal restraint effect. In practice, for example, so-called pads or piezo-elements may be embedded in the seat part in order to detect the seat occupancy and to perform an approximate weight measurement. However, this type of member requires a structural space and makes manufacturing complicated due to additional wiring and the like. DE 10 2006 061 669 A1 describes a method for determining an indication of the occupied weight of a vehicle seat, wherein a seat element of the vehicle seat can be adjusted by means of a drive unit, comprising the steps of providing at least one measurement signal representing the state of the drive unit, operating the drive unit for at least a predetermined period of time, detecting the measurement signal during operation, determining a load moment from the measurement signal as a function of a motor model, and determining an indication of the occupied weight of the seat element as a function of the load moment. An electric drive unit may be provided to adjust the seat height. However, it has been found that the accuracy of the measurement needs to be improved. DE 10 2017 217 331 A1 describes a method for operating an electric massage device of a seat, in particular of a motor vehicle, comprising a massage drive with an electric motor, wherein the electric motor is energized, the torque of the electric motor is detected and a reference value is determined therefrom, and the occupancy of at least a part of the seat is determined on the basis of the reference value. DE 103 35 A1 relates to a method for detecting a seat occupancy of a motor vehicle having at least one servomotor for seat adjustment. In this case, the power supply of one or more servomotors for seat adjustment is detected during the maneuver and evaluated as the degree of seat occupancy. However, the accuracy of such measurements has the potential to be improved. It is an object of the present invention to improve weight detection of a vehicle seat. This object is achieved by an object having the features of claim 1. According to the invention, a vehicle seat comprises a seat part assembly, a floor assembly carrying the seat part assembly and a height adjustment device for adjusting the distance between the seat part assembly and the floor assembly by means of a drive device. In this case, there is provided that the vehicle seat further comprises a control system coupled to the drive means by control technology, which is arranged to perform the steps of activating the drive means for adjusting (e.g. increasing or decreasing) the distance between the seat part assembly and the floor assembly in one (e.g. first) direction (e.g. up or down), detecting the value of a parameter during adjustment of the height adjustment device and/or the drive means in the (e.g. first) direction, and determining the weight acting on the seat part assembly based on the detected value of the parameter. In this case, there is also provided that the control system is arranged to take into account the setting of the further seat adjusting means when determining the weight acting on the seat part assembly. This is based on the idea that a height-adjusting motor generates a torque corresponding to an electric current by adjusting. The current may be measured by a control system (which may include electronics disposed on the vehicle seat and/or a central vehicle controller) and used to evaluate the load. By taking into account the setting of the further seat adjustment device in the calculation of the weight, a significantly improved accuracy of the weight measurement can be achieved. In order to determine the correct weight, the load applied to the seat at the same location may be relevant. For example, the center of gravity of the load on the seat may be affected by the setting of another seat adjusting device. In order to determine a more accurate measurement of the weight acting on the vehicle seat, it is therefore advantageous if the setting of the further seat adjusting
