Description

Dynamic creation of switching procedures and action instructions for a machine The present invention relates to a method and a system for dynamically creating an action instruction for an operator-guided switching machine line, in particular in a machine line for filling and packaging food and/or beverages, and a machine line. Current machine lines for producing and/or packaging goods, such as filling equipment for filling and packaging food and/or beverages, are no longer designed to be static for this limited purpose only. In contrast, the modularity of the individual machine elements makes it possible for the entire installation to be transferred individually from one state to another at a manageable outlay. For example, in the field of beverage filling equipment, a first equipment configuration for filling 0.5 liter disposable PET containers can be converted by manufacturer provided instructions to a second equipment configuration suitable for filling 1 liter reusable containers. For these conversion or switching processes, the manufacturer of the machine line typically provides detailed documentation or guidance in the form of assembly or installation instructions so that the customer can perform these conversion tasks even without the manufacturer's service technician. The conventional practice of providing these assembly or installation guidelines for switching from one configuration to another is generally to provide static guidelines that are directed to a particular number of personnel involved in the assembly or switching process. These instructions may be provided in printed form or digitally via various media including web sites, mobile applications and PDFs. These conventional guidelines assign steps to individual personnel or to a predetermined number of personnel required for the conversion process. These assumptions are typically based on average skills and competence, which may lead to an effective implementation of the guidance deviating from the actual situation and competence of the person involved. Furthermore, conventional guidelines do not take into account the dynamics and variability of the actual situation, in which case the number of people involved may vary. It does not provide the flexibility to adjust the guideline according to the available resources. This may lead to inefficiency in the switching process if the actual number of people available is different from the number specified in the instruction. Another technical disadvantage is that these guidelines do not address task division and coordination among the involved persons in an optimal manner. It does not take into account individual skills, experience and preferences, nor does it distribute tasks effectively to minimize the total time of the switching process. Accordingly, there is a need for improved methods and systems for dynamically creating action instructions. According to the invention, this object is achieved by a method according to claim 1 and a system according to claim 8. Embodiments and improvements are comprised in the dependent claims. One embodiment of the present invention relates to a method for dynamically creating action instructions for an operator-guided switching machine line, in particular in a machine line for filling and packaging food and/or beverages. In this case, the method includes receiving a user request to create guidance for an operator-directed switching process for switching the machine production line. The user request includes one or more boundary conditions. Examples of boundary conditions may be a selected number of operators or a selected period of time. The number of operators performing the action instructions during the operator-directed handover may then be determined. The determination of the number of operators is based on boundary conditions. Then, a set of action instructions required for the operator-directed switching process is determined and divided by the number of specific operators. Finally, a specific number of guidelines are created for the operator. The particular number of directions corresponds to the particular number of operators such that each of the particular number of directions includes a portion of the group action instructions. One embodiment of the present invention relates to a corresponding system for dynamically creating action instructions for an operator-guided switching machine line.
