Description
Battery cell assembly and battery pack including the same Technical Field The present disclosure relates to a battery cell assembly and a battery pack including the same. The present application claims the benefit of priority based on korean patent application No. 10-2024-0056444 filed on 29 th year 2024 and korean patent application No. 10-2024-0071873 filed on 31 th year 2024, and the entire contents of the foregoing korean patent applications are incorporated herein by reference. Background Unlike the primary battery, the secondary battery may be repeatedly charged and discharged. Secondary batteries are widely used as energy sources for various types of wireless devices such as cellular phones, notebook computers, and wireless cleaners. Recently, the main use of secondary batteries has been shifted from mobile devices to vehicles (mobility) because the manufacturing cost per unit capacity of the secondary batteries has been significantly reduced due to the increase in energy density and economies of scale, and the range of a pure electric vehicle (BEV) has increased to the same level as that of a fuel vehicle. With the current emphasis on the trend for secondary batteries for vehicles, the development of secondary battery technology is mainly aimed at reducing production costs and improving safety. Secondary batteries account for the largest part of the manufacturing costs of BEVs. Therefore, the most important factor for increasing BEV share as compared to internal combustion vehicles is the production cost of the secondary battery. The production cost can be reduced by reducing the raw materials, reducing the number of steps in the production process, and reducing tact time. The safety of the secondary battery is directly related to the life of the vehicle occupant, and thus is very important. A key task to enhance the safety of secondary batteries is to provide a cooling solution for the battery pack.
