CN-122005625-A - Use of lactobacillus gasseri BDUP to improve or enhance learning, multidimensional memory or attention
Abstract
The invention belongs to the field of probiotic functional foods, and relates to lactobacillus gasseri BDUP and application thereof in improving or enhancing learning ability, multidimensional memory and/or attention. The lactobacillus gasseri BDUP can promote nerve cells to secrete various neurotransmitters, remarkably improve multidimensional memory-related behavior such as short-term memory, long-term memory and spatial memory in model organisms and normal adult mice, and simultaneously up-regulate the expression level of brain-derived neurotrophic factors and synapse-related proteins in hippocampal tissues. After BDUP is taken, the learning efficiency, the attention level and the memory performance of the student population, the adult brain workers and the old are improved obviously. The invention comprehensively reveals the comprehensive enhancement effect of the lactobacillus gasseri BDUP on the learning ability and the multidimensional memory under the normal physiological state through the multi-level system verification of cells, model organisms, animals and people, and provides a new technical scheme for the development of cognitive support foods.

Description
Use of lactobacillus gasseri BDUP to improve or enhance learning, multidimensional memory or attention Technical Field The invention belongs to the field of microorganisms and functional foods, and particularly relates to application of lactobacillus gasseri BDUP in improving or enhancing learning ability, multidimensional memory and/or attention. Background Learning and memory are important components of advanced cognitive functions of humans, and relate to various cognitive processes such as short-term memory, long-term memory, spatial memory, information recognition and the like. Along with the increase of learning pressure, the increase of brain labor intensity and the acceleration of population aging process, how to safely and effectively improve learning ability and maintain good memory function has become a focus of social attention, and is an important research direction in the fields of food and health. Currently, common ways of improving cognitive function mainly include pharmaceutical intervention, nutritional supplementation and behavioral training. Although the medicine products (such as piracetam and the like) can improve learning and memory to a certain extent, the application scene is limited to clinic, and potential risks such as dependence and side effects exist. Nutritional supplements (e.g., DHA, phosphatidylserine, etc.) are widely used by students and brain workers, but their effects are unstable due to individual differences, and it is often difficult for a single nutrient to significantly improve memory performance in a short period of time. Behavior training patterns (such as meditation, memory training courses, etc.) are effective for some people, but require long-term adherence and have poor popularity. Therefore, a new means that is safe, convenient, and long-term applicable is needed to help improve learning and memory. In recent years, more and more researches show that intestinal flora not only participates in maintaining digestive absorption and immune balance of human body, but also has a close relation with brain functions, so-called intestinal-brain axis is formed. Some probiotics are able to regulate neurotransmitter levels, regulate emotion and improve sleep. Some probiotics have been reported to have an effect on memory-related behavior in aged or cognition impaired animal models, for example by observing spatial memory improvement through water maze experiments. However, such studies are generally limited to single behavioral models and are mainly focused on aging or disease states, and there is a lack of technical solutions for systematic evaluation of learning ability and multidimensional memory performance under normal physiological conditions, such as less application reports for improving learning and memory ability in healthy student populations. In addition, learning and memory are not single functions, but are jointly formed by a plurality of cognitive processes such as short-term memory, long-term memory, space memory, information recognition and the like, and the comprehensive effect of probiotics on the multi-dimensional memory level is difficult to comprehensively reflect in the prior art. In addition, even if different strains are derived from the same strain, the difference of the different strains in the cognitive related functions is obvious, and the prior art is lack of a technical scheme for carrying out system verification on a multi-dimensional memory level on a specific strain and expanding the specific strain to crowd application. Therefore, there is a need to develop a probiotic product that can stably improve or enhance learning ability, multidimensional memory and attention performance under normal physiological conditions, as verified by multi-level experiments. Disclosure of Invention The invention aims to provide lactobacillus gasseri BDUP and application thereof in improving or enhancing learning ability, multidimensional memory and/or attention, and the comprehensive enhancement effect of the lactobacillus gasseri on multidimensional cognition aspects such as short-term memory, long-term memory, spatial memory and information processing ability is verified through systematic research of cells, model organisms, normal adult animals and different crowds, so that a safe and effective cognition support food solution is provided for students, adult brain workers and old people. In order to achieve the above object, the present invention provides the following technical solutions: The invention provides application of at least one of live bacteria, inactivated bacteria, thallus components, fermentation supernatant or metabolites of lactobacillus gasseri BDUP in improving or enhancing learning ability, multidimensional memory and/or attention, wherein the preservation number of lactobacillus gasseri BDUP is CGMCC No.18357. Preferably, the multi-dimensional memory comprises one or more of short-term memory, long-term memory, and spatial memory. Pr
