The high-toughness welding rod for backing welding provided by the invention is a high-toughness alkaline welding rod with low-hydrogen potassium-sodium type coating, has the advantages of small welding spatter, attractive molding, easiness in deslagging, capability of performing all-position welding, capability of performing single-sided welding and double-sided molding during backing welding of welding pipelines, low content of diffused hydrogen, excellent performance in a welding state and a heat treatment state, and capability of ensuring that the low-temperature impact energy of-50 ℃ is more than 100J. The test result [ H ] of the deposited metal by a diffusion hydrogen mercury method is less than or equal to 5mL/100g, thereby reaching the index requirement of ultra-low hydrogen. The welding head is suitable for 50 Kg-level marine engineering matched backing welding, and can be used for backing welding, repairing and the like of pipeline steel and alloy steel.

The high-toughness welding rod for backing welding comprises a welding core and a coating wrapping the welding core, and is characterized by comprising, by weight, 40-46% of CaCO 3 , 20-25% of CaF 2 , 5-8% of TiO 2 , 8-12% of SiO 2 , 7-9% of Si-Fe, 4-7% of Mn, 1-3% of CeO 2 , 0.5-1% of Ni and the balance of iron powder.
- 2. The high-toughness welding rod for backing welding according to claim 1, wherein the coating comprises 40% CaCO 3 , 25% CaF 2 , 5% TiO 2 , 8% SiO 2 , 7% Si-Fe, 4% Mn, 1% CeO 2 , 0.5% Ni, and 9.5% iron powder by weight.
- 3. The high-toughness welding rod for backing welding according to claim 1, wherein the coating comprises 46% CaCO 3 , 20% CaF 2 , 5% TiO 2 , 9% SiO 2 , 7% Si-Fe, 6% Mn, 2% CeO 2 , 1% Ni, and 4% iron powder by weight.
- 4. The high-toughness welding rod for backing welding according to claim 1, wherein the coating comprises, by weight, 42% CaCO 3 , 23% CaF 2 , 8% TiO 2 , 12% SiO 2 , 7% Si-Fe, 5% Mn, 1.5% CeO 2 , 0.7% Ni, and 0.8% iron powder.
- 5. The high-toughness welding rod for backing welding according to claim 1, wherein the coating comprises 41% CaCO 3 , 22% CaF 2 , 6% TiO 2 , 10% SiO 2 , 9% Si-Fe, 7% Mn, 3% CeO 2 , 0.8% Ni, and 1.2% iron powder by weight.
- 6. The high-toughness welding rod for backing welding according to claim 1, wherein the coating comprises, by weight, 42% CaCO 3 , 21% CaF 2 , 7% TiO 2 , 11% SiO 2 , 8% Si-Fe, 4% Mn, 1% CeO 2 , 0.5% Ni, and 5.5% iron powder.
- 7. The high-toughness welding rod for backing welding according to claim 1, wherein the coating accounts for 30-35% of the total weight of the welding rod.
- 8. The high-toughness welding rod for backing welding according to claim 1, wherein the welding core is H08GX steel wire.

The method for producing a high-toughness welding rod for backing welding according to any one of claims 1 to 8, comprising the steps of stirring and mixing the powder of the coating uniformly, adding a binder into the mixed powder, stirring, and coating the powder on the core wire to produce the high-toughness welding rod.
- 10. Use of the high-toughness welding rod for backing welding according to any one of claims 1-8 in backing welding and repairing of marine products of the order of 50 Kg.
