Abstract

According to the invention, the polypropylene resin, the modifying additive and the foaming agent are directly injected into the double-screw extruder body to be combined with the input end of the underwater granulator for granulation, so that the modified polypropylene foaming particles can be continuously produced, the production time of the modified polypropylene foaming particles is greatly shortened, the production quality of the modified polypropylene foaming particles can be ensured by the continuous production mode, and the occurrence of different production quality of the modified polypropylene foaming particles is prevented.

- 1. A preparation process of a modified polypropylene foaming material is characterized in that polypropylene resin, a modifying additive and a foaming agent are sequentially filled into the inside of a double-screw extruder body (1) through a filling port on the double-screw extruder body (1), the polypropylene resin is melted in a temperature range of 140-200 ℃ and is plasticized with the modifying additive and the foaming agent to form a homogeneous system, the melted homogeneous polypropylene is extruded to the input end of an underwater granulator (2) through the output end of the double-screw extruder (1) under the pressure of 5-25MPa, plastic melt is cut into spherical beads through the underwater granulator (2), and the spherical beads are cooled and shaped in a water pipe of the underwater granulator (2) to obtain modified polypropylene foaming particles.
