Abstract
The invention provides a fluorine-free halogen-free flame retardant polypropylene composition, and a preparation method and application thereof. The fluorine-free halogen-free polypropylene composition comprises, by weight, 55-70 parts of polypropylene resin, 24-30 parts of a compound flame retardant, 9-15 parts of SBS resin and 0.2-2 parts of an active auxiliary agent, wherein the melt flow rate of the SBS resin is more than or equal to 4g/10min under the load of 5kg at the temperature of 190 ℃, and the compound flame retardant comprises piperazine flame retardant, melamine salt flame retardant and phosphines/phosphates flame retardant. According to the invention, the SBS resin with specific melt flow rate and the active auxiliary agent are added into the polypropylene resin system, and the polypropylene composition prepared by combining the compound flame retardant has good flame retardant property and better mechanical property.

Claims (10)
- 1. The fluorine-free halogen-free flame retardant polypropylene composition is characterized by comprising the following components in parts by weight: 55-70 parts of polypropylene resin; 24-30 parts of compound flame retardant; 9-15 parts of SBS resin; 0.2-2 parts of active auxiliary agent; The melt flow rate of the SBS resin is more than or equal to 4g/10min at 190 ℃ under a 5kg load, preferably, the melt flow rate of the SBS resin is 5-15 g/10min at 190 ℃ under the 5kg load, and the compound flame retardant comprises piperazine flame retardant, melamine salt flame retardant and phosphines/phosphates flame retardant.
- 2. The fluorine-free halogen-free flame retardant polypropylene composition according to claim 1, wherein the co-agent comprises an acrylate polymer and/or an epoxy resin, preferably wherein the co-agent comprises an acrylate polymer and an epoxy resin.

The fluorine-free halogen-free flame retardant polypropylene composition according to claim 2, wherein at least one of the following four is satisfied: (a) The mass ratio of the acrylic polymer to the epoxy resin in the active auxiliary agent is 1 (0.3-3); (b) The acrylic polymer comprises pentaerythritol triacrylate, trimethylolpropane triacrylate one or more of trimethylolpropane trimethacrylate or glycerol trimethylolpropane ether triacrylate; (c) The epoxy resin comprises one or more of bisphenol A epoxy resin, bisphenol F epoxy resin, polyphenol type glycidyl ether epoxy resin, aliphatic glycidyl ether epoxy resin or aliphatic glycidyl ester epoxy resin; (d) The number average molecular weight of the epoxy resin is 800-2000.
- 4. The fluorine-free halogen-free flame retardant polypropylene composition according to claim 1, wherein the mass ratio of piperazine flame retardant, melamine salt flame retardant and phosphines/phosphates flame retardant in the compound flame retardant is (1.4-2.2): 1 (0.3-0.6).

The fluorine-free halogen-free flame retardant polypropylene composition according to claim 1 or 4, wherein the piperazine based flame retardant comprises one or more of piperazine phosphate, piperazine pyrophosphate or piperazine polyphosphate, the melamine salt flame retardant comprises melamine pyrophosphate flame retardant and/or melamine polyphosphate flame retardant, and the phosphines/phosphate flame retardant comprises one or more of aluminum hypophosphite, calcium hypophosphite or aluminum diethylphosphinate.
- 6. The fluorine-free halogen-free flame retardant polypropylene composition according to claim 1, wherein the polypropylene resin has a melt flow rate of not less than 28g/10min at 230 ℃ under a load of 2.16 kg.
- 7. The fluorine-free halogen-free flame retardant polypropylene composition according to claim 1, further comprising 0.5-2 parts of a processing aid, wherein the processing aid comprises one or more of an antioxidant, a lubricant or a toner.

A method for preparing the fluorine-free halogen-free flame retardant polypropylene composition according to any one of claims 1 to 7, comprising the steps of: the components are uniformly mixed according to the proportion, and the fluorine-free halogen-free flame retardant polypropylene composition is obtained through melt extrusion and granulation.
- 9. Use of the fluorine-free halogen-free flame retardant polypropylene composition according to any one of claims 1 to 7 for preparing a household appliance housing material.

Background The polypropylene resin (PP) is one of five general plastics, has the advantages of easy processing, good electrical insulation, chemical solvent resistance and the like, and is widely applied to the fields of automobiles, household appliances, wires and cables, packaging materials and the like.
