A method of bi-directional adjustment of the height of a support according to claim 5, characterized in that the liquid-solid filling unit comprises a storage tank (9), a high pressure pump (13) and a one-way valve means (11), the input of the high pressure pump (13) being in communication with the storage tank (9), the output of the high pressure pump (13) being in communication with the elevation space via a medium conduit inlet (14), the one-way valve means (11) being arranged at the medium conduit inlet for preventing liquid back flow in the elevation space, the filter means (7) being detachably mounted at the medium outlet of the elevation base plate (5) for retaining solid particles and allowing liquid to drain during the elevation process, the filter means (7) being connected to the storage tank (9) via a medium conduit outlet pipe (8).
