The noise-reducing type range hood comprises a shell, a bellows and a volute arranged in the bellows, wherein the bellows is provided with an inlet, a flow passage space is formed between the bottom of the volute and the inlet of the bellows, and the noise-reducing type range hood is characterized by further comprising a flow guide block which is arranged in the flow passage space and corresponds to the inlet of the bellows, the flow guide block is of a structure of a flow separation boundary formed by the smoke fluid at the inlet of the profiling bellows due to section mutation and flow velocity mutation, the flow guide block is made of a sound absorption material, one surface of the flow guide block is a curved surface attached to the flow separation boundary, and the other surface of the flow guide block is attached to the inner wall of the bellows.
