Background The distribution cable is used for power transportation, is one of the components of the power system, and the running state of the distribution cable influences the stability and the safety of the power grid. In high or ultra-high voltage environments, the distribution cable may generate partial discharge due to long-term exposure to electric field stress, mechanical stress, or environmental factors (e.g., humidity, temperature changes). In the related art, a detecting member (e.g., a sensor) is fixedly installed at a joint of a distribution cable, and the discharging condition at the joint is monitored by the detecting member. However, the detection member is fixedly arranged, cannot move, and can only detect partial discharge near the joint, and has a small detection range. Disclosure of Invention The application provides a power distribution cable detection device, which expands the detection range of a power distribution cable.
