Abstract

Systems, methods, devices, and instrumentation related to explicit requests for flight path status are described herein. A wireless transmit/receive unit (WTRU) may transmit a first message indicating that flight path information is available. The WTRU may receive a second message including a flight path report configuration. The flight path report configuration may request the flight path information. The flight path reporting configuration may include at least one of the number of passing points, whether time stamp information is included, or a configuration for periodically reporting a flight path information update. The WTRU may transmit an initial flight path message within a third message. With a configured periodicity, the WTRU may evaluate whether the flight path information has changed since a previous flight path report was transmitted.
