Description
Aerosol generating device Technical Field The present disclosure relates to an aerosol-generating device, and more particularly to an aerosol-generating device that can adjust the output of microwaves according to the moisture level of an aerosol-generating article. Background Recently, there has been an increasing demand for alternative methods of overcoming the disadvantages of conventional cigarettes. For example, there is an increasing demand for systems that generate aerosols by heating cigarettes (or aerosol-generating articles) rather than methods of generating aerosols by burning cigarettes. In addition, in the conventional aerosol-generating device, the aerosol-generating article is heated by a resistance heating method, an induction heating method, and an ultrasonic heating method, however, the conventional aerosol-generating device has problems of a slow preheating speed and uneven heating compared to a dielectric heating method. In addition, although some of the existing aerosol-generating devices use a dielectric heating method, this dielectric heating method tracks a matching frequency according to the consumption amount of an aerosol-generating substance (e.g., moisture, etc.) without using a separate moisture sensing sensor, and controls the output of the oscillator only with the matching frequency. Since this method considers only the optimal heating efficiency without considering the actual smoking flavor of the user, user satisfaction may be reduced. Disclosure of Invention Technical problem The technical problem of the present disclosure is to provide an aerosol-generating device in which, in a dielectric heating mode, an absolute value of a moisture content contained in an aerosol-generating article can be obtained by a separate moisture sensing sensor, and an output of microwaves can be adjusted based on the moisture content. The technical problems of the present disclosure are not limited to the above-described technical problems, and other technical problems may be inferred from the following embodiments. Technical proposal An aerosol-generating device according to an aspect includes a source part that generates a Radio Frequency (RF) signal, a radiation part that heats an aerosol-generating article by radiating the RF signal in the form of electromagnetic waves into an insertion space into which the aerosol-generating article is inserted, a sensing part that senses a change in moisture of the aerosol-generating article caused by heating by the radiation part, and a control part that controls a frequency and power (power) of the RF signal output by the source part based on the change in moisture of the aerosol-generating article. Advantageous effects The aerosol-generating device of the present disclosure may obtain the moisture level of the aerosol-generating article directly from a separate moisture sensing sensor and adjust the frequency and power of the source according to changes in the moisture level of the aerosol-generating article. In particular, the frequency and power according to the moisture level may be experimentally set in consideration of the smoking flavor of the user, thereby improving user satisfaction. Furthermore, the aerosol-generating device does not increase or decrease the frequency and power of the source simultaneously with a decrease in the moisture level of the aerosol-generating article, but increases the frequency and decreases the power of the source with a decrease in the moisture level. By complementary control of the frequency and the power of the source, the power consumption of the aerosol-generating device can be reduced, and the smoking flavor of the user can be improved. Furthermore, according to an embodiment, the aerosol-generating device may operate the frequency and the power of the source at maximum output in an initial section of the warm-up section. Therefore, user satisfaction is improved by rapid warm-up. Furthermore, since the moisture sensing sensor of the aerosol-generating device also performs the functions of insertion sensing and type recognition of the aerosol-generating article, no additional sensing sensor is required. Furthermore, when the aerosol-generating article does not meet or exceed the desired moisture content during the manufacturing, transportation and storage phases, the aerosol-generating device may control the source in real time according to the matching frequency (instead of the preset control curve). Therefore, even if the aerosol-generating article does not meet the prescribed criteria, the user is not significantly hindered from smoking a flavor sensation. Effects of the present disclosure are not limited to the above-exemplified matters, and other various effects may be further included in the present specification.
