Description

Decorative cabinet door and drawer handle enclosure Cross Reference to Related Applications The present application claims priority from U.S. provisional application No. 63/543,627 filed on 10/11 of 2023, which provisional application is incorporated herein by reference in its entirety. Technical Field The present disclosure relates generally to cabinets and drawer handles. Background As shown in fig. 1, residential doors and drawer handles are common in homes and countless other environments. Such handles are secured to the drawer or door to facilitate movement of the drawer or door between the open and closed positions. In view of the popularity and visibility of such handles, they typically employ decorative surface treatments, patterns or designs that are intended to coordinate with the location where the handle is secured. Unfortunately, conventional handles suffer from a number of drawbacks and deficiencies. For example, removing and replacing conventional designs is costly in terms of material costs, time consuming, and requires tools. Therefore, in view of these features, users rarely replace conventional grips. Over time, such handles can become outdated, old and unsightly. Eventually, this requires a complete replacement of the handle. In other alternatives, the cover is permanently attached to the door by a permanent adhesive or other attachment mechanism that requires the use of tools to detach. In fact, since the cover is part of the pull handle, removal of such conventional covers effectively renders the underlying pull handle ineffective. Furthermore, removing such conventional covers can be difficult, time consuming, and may even result in the cover breaking or damaging the door or handle. Disclosure of Invention In order to ameliorate the shortcomings and drawbacks of known cabinet doors and drawer handles, the present disclosure provides a decorative enclosure that can be snap-connected to existing handles without affecting the function and use of the existing handles. This summary should not be construed to narrow or limit the claims in any way, except insofar as the claims are limited to the invention disclosed herein.
