Description

Glove safety release system Technical Field The present application relates to an automatic glove removal device for removing gloves from a user's hand in a hygienic and efficient manner. Background Gloves play an important defensive role in a variety of fields to prevent contamination. Industrial inventory requiring gloves includes, but is not limited to, healthcare, municipal, food industry, research and development laboratories, industrial institutions that process items manually, packaging industry (including manual intervention), animal husbandry, veterinary, and the like. In the healthcare field, gloves are worn by, inter alia, medical practitioners, surgeons, nurses, caregivers, or other medical personnel. After the COVID-19 epidemic outbreak, it was found that there is no safety mechanism by which the glove can be removed in a safe manner after use, by which exposure and infection to microorganisms and infectious diseases can be ensured to be avoided. A number of devices have been proposed for this purpose, which meet their respective specific objects and requirements. In this regard, the automatic glove removing apparatus provides several advantages not available with the conventional glove removing method. These advantages include efficient and hygienic removal of the glove without damage or tearing, proper sterilization by exposure to UV-C light and sterilizers, convenient disposal of the used glove within the built-in trash can, adjustable settings for rotational speed and sterilization preferences, and enhanced security features for user protection. Accordingly, it can be appreciated that there is a continuing need for a new and improved glove removal and disposal device that can be used to facilitate hygienic removal of latex gloves from the hands. The present invention substantially meets this need. Disclosure of Invention The device of the present invention is an automatic glove removal device that provides an innovative solution for removing gloves from a user's hand in a hygienic and efficient manner. The device includes a motor driven rotary double hook mechanism to facilitate glove removal. Furthermore, the automatic glove removal apparatus includes a sterilization system including a VR lamp and a sterilizer to ensure that the hooks are properly sterilized prior to disposal. The device of the present invention includes a motor driven rotary double hook mechanism that securely grips the glove during removal. The hooks rotate in opposite directions to facilitate easy removal of the glove without causing any damage or tearing. The rotational speed may be adjusted according to the user's preference or the particular glove type. The device of the present invention incorporates a disinfection system to maintain optimal hygienic standards, and the disinfection system consists of VR lamps and a sterilizer. After each use, the glove is exposed to UV-C light emitted by the VR lamp, which effectively kills bacteria and viruses present on their surface. In addition, a sterilizer is applied to further sterilize the rotating hook. The device of the present invention has a motor-driven hatch door that allows a user to conveniently discard used gloves within their built-in trash can compartment. The door is designed to prevent any contaminants from escaping during disposal while ensuring ease of use. A method of using the glove automatic removal apparatus, a user simply inserts their gloved hand into a designated glove removal area. A high sensitivity sensor detects a gloved hand. Once the sensor recognizes the glove, a mechanism that activates a motor-driven rotating double hook mechanism is triggered to gently remove the glove from the user's hand. After removal, the glove is then discarded into the built-in trash through a motor-driven opening door. The method of removing the glove is primarily dependent on the motor starting to act and starting to rotate the double hooks. This rotation ensures that the glove is removed and that all surfaces of the hooks are thoroughly sterilized. To this end, a sterilizing liquid is introduced into the system through the pipe. The liquid flows through the tubing and reaches the pump, which then sprays the sanitizing liquid onto the rotating hooks. According to the method of the invention, a VR (ultraviolet) lamp is incorporated in the device to further enhance the disinfection effect. The hooks pass through the UV light emitted by the lamp as the hooks rotate within the device, which has been demonstrated to have germicidal properties. The combination of the sanitizing liquid and UV light ensures thorough sanitizing of both visible and invisible contaminants on the hook surface.
