Description

Composition for conditioning keratin fibres Technical Field The present invention relates to a composition for conditioning keratin fibres, in particular human keratin fibres such as the hair. The invention also relates to a cosmetic method for conditioning keratin fibres. Background In some cases, such as under sun exposure, keratin fibers, such as skin and scalp, may sweat, resulting in sebum secretion. Excessive sebum secretion from the scalp makes the hair greasy and impairs its appearance, for example its full appearance. In addition, the presence of sebum reduces perceived freshness on the scalp. Oily scalp is the second biggest problem in hair and scalp problems, especially in chinese consumers. Many products have been developed to address the problems caused by excess sebum. For example, US5137715A discloses a shampoo-conditioner composition consisting essentially of (a) from about 1% to about 20% by weight of an anionic cleansing surfactant, (b) from about 0.1% to about 2.5% by weight of a substantially uncrosslinked polymeric amidoamine, and (c) a suitable carrier comprising water, wherein the composition has a pH in the range of from about 2.5 to less than 7. However, many products on the market are ineffective against excess sebum, so that they do not give the hair a full appearance. It is therefore desirable to have a solution that is effective against excess sebum that reduces the problems caused by heavy sebum and gives the hair a fuller appearance. Disclosure of Invention It is therefore an object of the present invention to develop a composition for conditioning keratin fibres which reduces the problems caused by heavy sebum and gives the hair a plump appearance. Thus, according to a first aspect, the present invention provides a composition for conditioning keratin fibres, comprising: a) Spherical particles of at least one lipophilic modified silica; b) At least one superabsorbent polymer selected from starches grafted with acrylic polymers, and C) At least one hyaluronic acid cross-linked polymer. According to a second aspect, the present invention provides a cosmetic method for conditioning keratin fibres, comprising the application to said keratin fibres of a composition according to the invention. The inventors have found that the composition according to the invention is effective against sebum and gives hair volume. Other subjects and features, aspects and advantages of the present invention will become even more apparent upon reading the following detailed description and examples. Detailed Description As used herein, unless otherwise indicated, the limits of the numerical ranges are included in the ranges, in particular in the expression "in the term" and "is used herein. Spherical particles of lipophilically modified silica The composition of the invention comprises spherical particles of at least one lipophilic modified silica. As used herein, "spherical particles" means particles that are spherical or at least approximately spherical in shape, and/or particles that have an aspect ratio of about 0.9 to 1.1, for example about 0.95 to 1.05. For example, one skilled in the art can determine whether the particle shape is spherical based on conventional knowledge. In particular, it is within the routine skill of those skilled in the art to distinguish spherical shapes from other shapes of plates
