Description

Method for manufacturing an ophthalmic device having an optical function comprising a light value added down, and ophthalmic device group having different optical functions Technical Field The present disclosure relates to a method for manufacturing an ophthalmic device having an optical function comprising an add-on value. The present disclosure further relates to a command and control unit comprising system elements configured to run a computer program for implementing at least some of the steps of the method. The disclosure also relates to a manufacturing system configured to perform at least some of the steps of the method, and a computer program comprising instructions configured to implement at least some of the steps of the method when the computer program is run by a computer. The present disclosure further relates to a client-server communication interface for transmitting at least some data determined by a computer program implementing at least some of the steps of the method to a remote computer which implements other steps of the method when the computer program is run in a command and control unit. The invention also relates to an ophthalmic device group having different optical functions including at least the same add-on value. Background It is known to manufacture ophthalmic devices by means of machining processes carried out by a machining system which machines a substrate or blank having a so-called semi-finished face. The ophthalmic device may have an optical function including a light down value and a sphere value. The substrate is typically selected from a group of substrates having the same predetermined material and a plurality of predetermined curvatures and also a plurality of initial addition values on the semifinished face of the substrate. First, a subset of substrates is selected from the plurality of substrates, the subset of substrates having the same predetermined material and the same predetermined curvature, depending on the sphere value to be imparted to the ophthalmic device and independent of the initial add-on value. Next, a substrate is selected from the selected subset of substrates having the same predetermined material and the same predetermined curvature, depending on the value of the add-on light to be imparted to the ophthalmic device. Depending on the initial value of the selected substrate, a supplemental add-on value may be added to the other face of the selected substrate opposite the semi-finished face of the substrate, if any. In addition, a substrate selected from the selected subset of substrates is provided with a so-called manufacturing mark at a predetermined position on one of the surfaces of the substrate. Such manufacturing marks are used in order to position the other face relative to the semi-finished face for machining. More generally, the other side of the substrate is selected to be manufactured, for example, by machining, such that the ophthalmic device has a prescribed add value and a sphere value. Then, additional marks (referred to as positioning marks or reference marks) are added by engraving at predetermined locations on one of the faces of the substrate. Such positioning marks are used in order to center the ophthalmic device with respect to the eyes of its wearer. Disclosure of Invention The present disclosure relates to a method for manufacturing an ophthalmic device having an optical function comprising at least an add-on value and made of a substrate of the type disclosed above, which method is easy and convenient to implement. Accordingly, according to a first aspect, the present disclosure provides a method for manufacturing an ophthalmic device having an optical function comprising at least an add-down value, the method comprising the steps of providing a substrate having a first predetermined add-down value on a first side of the provided substrate, and wherein the method comprises the step of determining the position of a positioning mark in the first side and a second side opposite the first side depending on at least the first predetermined add-down value on the first side of the provided substrate and depending on the add-down value to be given to the ophthalmic device. In accordance with the present disclosure, ophthalmic devices to be manufactured have positioning marks (also referred to as reference marks) that are determined and positioned on either the first face or the second face depending on a first predetermined add-down value on the first face and depending on the add-down value to be imparted to the ophthalmic device. Thus, the substrate used to manufacture the ophthalmic device is also selected based on the determined location of these positioning marks. Such positioning marks are used in order to center the ophthalmic device with respect to the eyes of its wearer. In addition, by means of the method according to the present disclosure, for a given add-on value to be imparted to an ophthalmic device, a substrate
