Description

Peptides having skin condition improving activity and uses thereof Cross Reference to Related Applications The present application claims priority from korean patent application No. 10-2023-0137616 filed on 10 months 16 of 2023, the disclosure of which is incorporated herein by reference in its entirety. Technical Field The present invention relates to novel peptides having skin condition improving activity and uses thereof. Background The skin is an organ covering all organs and organ systems of the human body, protects the body from external damage, and plays an important role in regulating homeostasis by preserving moisture and temperature in the body. Histologically, the skin consists of three layers, epidermis (epidermis), dermis (dermis) and subcutaneous layer (subcutis). Aging of skin can be classified into aging due to intrinsic factors and aging due to extrinsic factors. Aging due to intrinsic factors naturally occurs with age, and it is reported that decrease in skin cell activity due to genetic reasons such as telomere shortening is a cause of skin aging. Aging due to external factors occurs due to environmental factors such as sunlight, cold, wind and dust, and among these factors, ultraviolet rays and infrared rays of sunlight are known to be the most important causes. As skin ages, collagen (which is fibrous tissue that is used to support the skin structure) and elastic fibers harden. Meanwhile, basic substances (group subtotals) such as collagen and elastic fibers filled between cells and between fibrous materials have remarkably high ability to hold moisture, and as such basic substances and the like are reduced, elasticity of skin becomes weak and wrinkles occur. Representative of these base substances are hyaluronic acid (hyaluronic acid) and mucopolysaccharide (mucopolysaccharides), and as skin aging progresses, hyaluronidase (hyaluronidase) increases so that the amount of hyaluronic acid in dermis gradually decreases. In addition, active oxygen (free radical) induced by ultraviolet rays or produced by intracellular respiration reacts with unsaturated fatty acids of cell membranes to form new free radicals-peroxy free radicals (peroxyradical), and the substances cause a chain reaction in the presence of oxygen, thereby again inducing lipid peroxidation. Lipid peroxides can further enhance lipid peroxidation and impair the function of enzymes or receptor systems by reacting with proteins. As described above, active oxygen is a major cause of skin cell and tissue damage. In addition, active oxygen destroys the skin antioxidant defense system composed of antioxidant enzymes and non-enzyme antioxidants, thereby tilting the balance between the oxidizing agent and the antioxidant agent toward an oxidized state, and the sustained oxidative stress damages biological components through processes such as lipid peroxidation, protein oxidation, activation of proteolytic enzymes that destroy interstitial matrix components, chain cleavage and abnormal crosslinking of collagen and elastin which are elastic fibers, cleavage of hyaluronic acid chains, promotion of melanin production and DNA oxidation. Patent documents related to peptide active substances having an activity of improving skin aging or skin wrinkles are korean patent No. 10-2486996, korean patent No. 10-2507392, and PCT international patent application No. PCT-KR 2021-01278. [ Related art literature ] [ Patent literature ] Patent document 1 Korean patent No. 10-2486996 Patent document 2 Korean patent No. 10-2507392 Patent document 3 PCT International patent application No. PCT-KR 2021-01278 Disclosure of Invention Technical problem The present inventors have conducted studies to develop effective active substances useful for inhibiting skin aging and improving skin conditions such as improving skin wrinkles.
