Claims (20)

  1. 1. An electronic device, comprising: a housing having a vent; An air flow generator disposed in the housing, wherein the air flow generator is operable to generate an air flow toward the air vent to vent air within the housing out of the housing through the air vent of the housing, and A sensor element located at or before the vent of the housing along the path of the airflow for measuring one or more physical characteristics of the airflow.
  2. 2. The electronic device of claim 1, wherein the one or more physical characteristics of the airflow include airflow pressure or airflow velocity.
  3. 3. The electronic device of claim 1, wherein the sensor element comprises one or a combination of a pressure sensing element or a wind speed sensing element.
  4. 4. The electronic device of claim 1, wherein a lateral position of the sensor element relative to a width of the airflow corresponds to a point of maximum airflow velocity relative to an airflow velocity profile along the width of the airflow.

The electronic device of claim 1, wherein the airflow generator comprises a centrifugal fan having a plurality of blades rotatable about an axis of rotation to generate a vortex around the plurality of blades about the axis of rotation, and And an airflow guide to guide the vortex flow into the airflow directed to the vent of the housing.

  13. 13. The electronic device of claim 12, wherein the comparison comprises a determination of whether the one or more physical characteristics of the airflow measured by the sensor element are less than or equal to or greater than a predefined base threshold.

The electronic device of claim 13, wherein the one or more physical characteristics of the airflow include an airflow velocity or a volumetric flow rate of the airflow, wherein when the one or more physical characteristics of the airflow measured by the sensor element are determined to be less than the predefined base threshold, the processor is configured to output a dust accumulation warning signal, and/or The processor is configured to output a dust-free pile-up signal when the one or more physical characteristics of the airflow measured by the sensor element are determined to be equal to the predefined base threshold.

Description

Electronic device with dust accumulation detection function and dust accumulation detection method thereof Technical Field The present application relates to the field of computer technologies, and in particular, to an electronic device with dust accumulation detection and a method for detecting dust accumulation. Background Traditionally, electronic devices such as computing devices (e.g., laptops, notebooks, desktops, tablets, servers, all-in-one personal computers, etc.), visual display devices (e.g., displays, televisions, etc.), consoles (e.g., gaming machines), or audio devices may accumulate dust inside the electronic device after a period of use. In a second aspect, embodiments of the present application provide a dust accumulation detection method of an electronic device, the method comprising comparing one or more physical characteristics of an airflow measured by a sensor element with reference data, the airflow being generated by an airflow generator disposed in a housing of the electronic device towards a vent of the housing to expel air within the housing out of the housing through the vent of the housing, the sensor element being located at or before the vent of the housing along a path of the airflow, wherein a state of dust accumulation along the airflow is determined based on a result of the comparison. The application has the beneficial effects that the dust accumulation in the electronic device can be detected, so that a user can know the dust accumulation state and take action to clear the dust or clean the electronic device so as to maintain the efficiency of the electronic device.
