Description
User interface and techniques for changing the manner in which objects are displayed Cross Reference to Related Applications The present application claims priority from U.S. provisional patent application Ser. No. 63/541,811, filed on month 9 of 2023, and U.S. provisional patent application Ser. No. 63/541,832, filed on month 9 of 2023, which are hereby incorporated by reference in their entireties for all purposes. Background Users often use computer systems to display objects. Such objects include video, animation, and pictures. Disclosure of Invention The prior art for changing the display of objects using electronic devices is often cumbersome and inefficient. In some embodiments, some prior art techniques use complex and time consuming user interfaces that may include multiple key presses or keystrokes. Some prior art techniques require more time than is necessary, wasting user time and device energy. This latter consideration is particularly important in battery-powered devices. Thus, the present technology provides faster, more efficient methods and interfaces for changing the display of objects and/or for displaying overlays for electronic devices. Such methods and interfaces optionally supplement or replace other methods for changing the display of objects and/or for displaying overlays. Such methods and interfaces reduce the cognitive burden on the user and create a more efficient human-machine interface. For battery-powered computing devices, such methods and interfaces save power and increase the time interval between battery charges. Such methods and interfaces may supplement or replace other methods for changing the display of an object. In some embodiments, a method performed at a computer system in communication with a display component and one or more input devices is described. In some embodiments, the method includes detecting, while the content is displayed via the display component, a first interaction condition corresponding to the content, and in response to detecting the first interaction condition corresponding to the content, displaying, via the display component, a representation of a face looking in a direction of the content in accordance with a determination that the first interaction condition corresponding to the content meets a first set of one or more criteria, and displaying, via the display component, a representation of the face looking in a direction of a first user detected in a detection field of the one or more input devices in accordance with a determination that the first interaction condition corresponding to the content meets a second set of one or more criteria different from the first set of one or more criteria. In some embodiments, a non-transitory computer readable storage medium storing one or more programs configured for execution by one or more processors of a computer system in communication with a display component and one or more input devices is described. In some embodiments, the one or more programs include instructions for detecting a first interaction condition corresponding to content when the content is displayed via the display component, and in response to detecting the first interaction condition corresponding to the content, displaying, via the display component, a direction of a representation of a face toward the content in accordance with a determination that the first interaction condition corresponding to the content meets a first set of one or more criteria, and displaying, via the display component, a direction of the representation of the face toward a first user detected in a detection field of the one or more input devices in accordance with a determination that the first interaction condition corresponding to the content meets a second set of one or more criteria different from the first set of one or more criteria. In some embodiments, a transitory computer-readable storage medium storing one or more programs configured for execution by one or more processors of a computer system in communication with a display component and one or more input devices is described. In some embodiments, the one or more programs include instructions for detecting a first interaction condition corresponding to content when the content is displayed via the display component, and in response to detecting the first interaction condition corresponding to the content, displaying, via the display component, a direction of a representation of a face toward the content in accordance with a determination that the first interaction condition corresponding to the content meets a first set of one or more criteria, and displaying, via the display component, a direction of the representation of the face toward a first user detected in a detection field of the one or more input devices in accordance with a determination that the first interaction condition corresponding to the content meets a second set of one or more criteria different from the first set of one o
