Abstract

The invention describes a method, a vehicle and a computer program which supports a user of the vehicle in a replacement of a windscreen wiper. The method identifies an ending window wiper travel, wherein the window wiper is used at least once during the window wiper travel. After the end of the running travel of the windscreen wiper, a query is sent to the user about the quality of the windscreen wiper. If an input evaluating the quality of the window wiper as insufficient is received after a query regarding the quality of the window wiper, a prompt is then output to a user of the vehicle for supporting a window wiper replacement.

Description

Window plate wiper replacement auxiliary scheme Technical Field The invention relates to a method for supporting a user of a vehicle in a replacement of a windscreen wiper, as well as to a vehicle and a computer program which are configured to carry out the method. Background Window wipers in automobiles are subject to wear. Wear of the window wiper is typically noticeable by streaking and by noise increase. Most of the time, no sensing means exist to identify the wear. Color coding is known on wipers, which shows when the wiper blade should be replaced. The color coding changes color due to aging and ultraviolet radiation and is not linked to the actual brushing result. The effect or sign of wear on the window wipers is preferably detectable by human senses and the feel of the wiping quality is very subjective. At the same time, detection of the wiping result by sensing means like for example an interior camera and image evaluation is very complex, mostly inadequate and expensive. When using the window wiper, wear is visible and is mostly forgotten when not in use, whereby most motorists travel with poor wiping results for a longer period of time. Disclosure of Invention According to the invention, a low-cost method is provided which supports the user of the vehicle in the replacement of the windscreen wiper. This is achieved by a method that supports a user of the vehicle in a replacement of the windshield wipers. The method identifies an ending window wiper travel stroke, wherein the window wiper is used at least once during the window wiper travel stroke. The end of the travel of the windscreen wiper is detected, in particular, by stopping or parking the vehicle. Thus, human eyes and hearing can be used as sensors for evaluating the results of the window wiper. In addition, the user of the vehicle is directly supported in eliminating the problem, so that the necessity of replacement is not forgotten, which can improve traffic safety. If no input is received after interrogation or the quality of the window wiper is rated good, it is preferable not to output a prompt. The inquiry can be a yes/no question like e.g. "you are satisfied with the brushing result". The query can also have a plurality of answer alternatives for the selection. When there are multiple answer possibilities, the answer possibilities are classified into two categories that require a replacement of the window wiper or do not. The dependent claims show preferred developments of the invention. Preferably, a query for the quality of the windshield wipers is sent to a display in the vehicle. The display is in particular a head-up display and/or a multifunction display, wherein the display is provided for visually outputting the prompt. Thus, the query can be shown directly in the field of view of the user of the vehicle, which simplifies the use of the method and improves the user experience. The display of the inquiry at the display in the vehicle thus leads to a reliable evaluation of the quality of the window wiper by the user of the vehicle. It is further preferred that a query for the quality of the windscreen wiper is sent to the mobile terminal device. The mobile terminal device is preferably a smart phone. The interrogation can thus be performed spatially independent of the vehicle. Thus, the interrogation can also be performed after leaving the vehicle. The output of the prompt is preferably made to the mobile terminal device. Thus, the prompt can also be shown independent of the vehicle. Furthermore, further steps for supporting the replacement of the windscreen wiper can be carried out directly starting from the mobile terminal device. In a further preferred embodiment of the invention, the transmission of the inquiry for the quality of the window wiper is only performed after a predefined number of performed window wiper travel strokes. If the expected use time of the window wiper is, for example, 100 completed window wiper travel strokes, a query for the quality of the window wiper can be sent after 90 completed window wiper travel strokes are detected. For example, a query for the quality of the windshield wiper can also be sent to the user of the vehicle after every five strokes of travel of the windshield wiper. Thus, the user is not requested to answer a query after each travel of the window wiper, thereby improving the user experience, and the method reliably obtains user input to the query. Preferably, the invention further comprises a step in which a louver wiper signal is received, said louver wiper signal reflecting the use of the louver wiper. Here, the trans
