Abstract
A method and apparatus for network power saving in a wireless communication system are disclosed. A method performed by a terminal according to one embodiment of the present disclosure includes the steps of receiving mode information for active and inactive periods of cell-related DTX/DRX, and performing measurements on at least one of a serving cell or a neighbor cell based on the mode information. Here, based on performing the measurement of the serving cell during the inactive period, the measurement of the serving cell during the inactive period may correspond to the restricted measurement performed based on the preset condition.

Claims (15)

A method performed by a terminal in a wireless communication system, the method comprising: receiving mode information for at least one of active or inactive periods of cell-related Discontinuous Transmission (DTX) or Discontinuous Reception (DRX), and Based on the mode information, performing measurements on at least one of the serving cell or the neighbor cell, Wherein the measurements of the serving cell during the inactive period correspond to restricted measurements performed based on pre-configured conditions based on the measurements of the serving cell performed during the inactive period.
