Description

Electrical switch Technical Field Embodiments of the present disclosure relate generally to the field of electrical equipment technology, and more particularly, to electrical switches. Background As a protection switch, an electrical switch is required to carry and break a corresponding current. An electrical switch, such as a circuit breaker, is capable of breaking current in the event of an overload, short circuit or leakage fault in the circuit, thereby protecting the line and equipment. Disclosure of utility model In one aspect of the disclosure, an electrical switch is provided that includes a trip member adapted to switch an on-off state of the electrical switch, first and second wire members, first and second wire terminals, the first wire terminal adapted to lock a first external connection member to a position connected to the first wire member and the second wire terminal adapted to lock a second external connection member to a position connected to the second wire member, a first bimetal having one end connected to the first wire member and the other end extending to a position adjacent to the trip member, the first bimetal being adapted to move toward the trip member upon thermal deformation to drive the trip member to switch the electrical switch to a breaking state, and a second bimetal having one end connected to the second wire member and the other end extending to a position adjacent to the trip member, the second bimetal being adapted to move toward the trip member upon thermal deformation to drive the trip member to switch the electrical switch to a breaking state. According to the embodiment of the present disclosure, in the case where any one of the first and second connection terminals abnormally emits heat due to unexpected loosening, heat on the corresponding connection terminal can be conducted to the corresponding bimetal through the corresponding connection piece. In this way, the corresponding bimetallic strip can be heated and bent and drive the trip member to switch the electrical switch to the breaking state, thereby realizing the thermal trip action and avoiding damaging the electrical switch. In some embodiments, the second bimetal includes a connection portion, an extension portion, and a driving portion, the extension portion being disposed between the connection portion and the driving portion, the connection portion being connected to the second wire member, and the driving portion being adapted to drive the trip member. In some embodiments, the drive portion is spaced apart from the trip member without deformation of the second bimetal. In some embodiments, the connection is welded to the second wire member. In some embodiments, the extension includes a first portion, a second portion, and a third portion disposed between the first portion and the second portion, the first portion being connected to and bent with respect to the connection portion, and the second portion being connected to and bent with respect to the drive portion. In some embodiments, the third portion comprises a single segment or a plurality of segments that are bent relative to each other. In some embodiments, the first portion and the second portion are bent toward the same side of the third portion, and the first portion and the second portion are each disposed at a predetermined angle with respect to the third portion.
