A wide angle diverter as set forth in claim 1 wherein said first port (103) and said second port (104) are staggered circumferentially such that either one of said first port (103) and said second port (104) can cooperate with said working channel (102) to form a working valve port and the other can cooperate with said return channel (105) to form a return valve port.
- 3. A wide angle steering gear according to claim 1, wherein the torsion spring body (4) is a cylindrical helical torsion spring which increases the free angle of rotation to 90 °.

A wide-angle diverter as set forth in claim 1, wherein the filter assembly (7) comprises a mounting plate (701), wherein a filter tube (703) is mounted at one end of the mounting plate (701), the filter tube (703) is in threaded connection with the oil inlet (101), external threads (704) are mounted on the outer walls of the filter tube (703), and baffles (702) are mounted on the inner walls of the filter tube (703).
