Description

The present invention relates to a filling adapter, in particular for filling a component, such as a gearbox housing, with operating fluid, a use of a filling adapter and a method for filling a component with operating fluid. Components, especially vehicle components such as gearbox housings, are filled with operating fluids, such as lubricating oil. This filling process is an important step in the manufacturing process, particularly because it is relatively time-consuming. A key challenge in this context is ensuring that the air contained in the gearbox housing can escape as quickly as possible. For example, evacuation systems that actively vent the gearbox housing are known from the prior art. It is also possible to equip the gearbox housing itself with corresponding venting openings. However, both solutions are complex and increase the cost of the manufacturing process. The DE 10 2005 059 068 A1 relates to a device for filling and emptying a container with a pipe for the inlet and a pipe for the return, wherein one pipe has a larger diameter than the other pipe and the pipe with the smaller diameter is arranged inside the pipe with the larger diameter. The US 2004/0025968 A1 This concerns a spout for portable fuel containers used for refueling, for example, tractors, chainsaws, etc. US 3 826 291 A This concerns a refueling system for motor vehicles that prevents the escape of hydrocarbons during refueling. US 4 166 485 A This concerns a system for controlling fuel vapors during refueling, based on negative pressure. GB 2 002 720 A This relates to a filling nozzle for filling the fuel tank of a vehicle, the filling port of which has a sealing surface on the front and is made of a ferromagnetic material, with a rear handle part and a front outlet part which carries a spout that can be inserted into the filling port, with a device for draining the gases and vapors that occur during the filling of the liquid fuel into the filling port, which can be brought into sealing contact with the ferromagnetic filling port of the fuel tank by means of a permanent magnet arranged at the end of an outlet part, and with a device for detachably holding the filling nozzle on the filling port. The GB 367 798 A This concerns a device for filling fuel tanks with a shut-off function when a predetermined fill level is reached. DE 87 11 487 U1 relates to a device for filling fuel into the fuel filler neck of a motor vehicle, which has a filling nozzle connected to a fuel reservoir. It is therefore an object of the present invention to provide a filling adapter, a use of a filling adapter and a method for filling a component with operating fluid, which eliminate the aforementioned disadvantages and are in particular simple in design and cost-effective. This problem is solved by a filling adapter according to claim 1, by a use according to claim 10, and by a method according to claim 11. Further advantages and features will become apparent from the dependent claims, the description, and the accompanying figures. According to the invention, a filling adapter for filling a component with operating fluid comprises an outer tube and an inner tube extending along a main flow direction, wherein the outer tube has a sealing section at its end face for attachment to a component to be filled, wherein at least one guide channel is formed between the outer tube and the inner tube, and wherein the inner tube or the at least one guide channel terminates in at least one outlet opening of the filling adapter, which is/are arranged offset from the sealing section against the main flow direction. Advantageously, the at least one guide channel or the inner tube serves to vent the respective component or container. The channel or tube that does not serve for venting serves to fill the operating fluid, in particular a fluid such as a lubricating oil. Advantageously, the filling adapter has an assembly section comprising an inlet opening for introducing the operating fluid into the filling adapter or, via the filling adapter, into the component to be filled. The assembly section is expediently designed to be attached to a pipe and/or hose system or a filling gun, in particular, for example, by means of a positive and/or non-positive connection, such as a suitable thread. The sealing section is advantageously designed such that a positive connection exists between the component to be filled and the filling adapter. A non-positive connection can additionally be achieved, in particular, by pressing the filling adapter onto the component or the corresponding filling opening (of the component), for example, using the filling gun. Alternatively, it is also possible, e.g., The outer tube is provided with a threaded section at its end face to allow it to be screwed into the corresponding component. The sealing section ensures that no air or lubricating oil can escape through it. This guarantees a closed venting channel leading from the component to at least on
