Description

The invention relates to an optical, electronic, multi-area, orientation and traffic guidance system according to the features of the preamble of claim 1. A system appropriate to the genus is characterized by the DE 6 602 329 U known. The present invention is based on the objective of providing an improved optical, electronic multi-area orientation and traffic guidance system that increases traffic safety. The problem is solved according to the invention by an optical, electronic multi-area orientation and traffic guidance system with the features of claim 1. According to the invention, an optical, electronic multi-range orientation and traffic guidance system is proposed as a traffic guidepost. A key feature is that the traffic guidepost incorporates an HD day and night wide-angle digital thermal imaging camera and/or a short-range sensor and/or a long-range sensor and/or an LED warning segment and/or a wildlife ultrasonic sensor and/or a monitoring unit and/or a warning light unit and/or a light-reflecting retro-reflector element and/or a 5G signal transmitter for autonomous driving and/or a position light, and that the traffic guidepost is constructed of transparent plastic, with the guidepost being equipped with an additional position light that is illuminated at night and/or during the day, and that the position light indicates the road layout in different colors. It may be provided that the traffic guidepost is designed in one piece, two pieces or three pieces. It may be provided that the light-reflecting retro-reflector element is cubic in shape and/or designed as microprisms. With the optical, electronic multi-area orientation and traffic guidance system according to the invention, it is possible to announce the approaching oncoming traffic to the driver who is about to overtake by means of a flashing signal in the preferably two-part traffic guide post. The optical, electronic multi-area orientation and traffic guidance system can be, for example, two-part and/or three-part; a single-part version is also possible. The system can also be used in other areas such as roads, railways, airports, bollards, and roundabouts. The following explanations serve to improve understanding and clarify the topic. They are supplementary explanations that deal with the features already known from the prior art according to the preamble of claim 1. However, some of this information is purely additional and does not belong to the invention. Since the installation of traffic guideposts is mandatory in Europe anyway, these preferably two-part traffic guideposts can ensure a safe overtaking maneuver; traffic is guided by combining day and night HD digital wide-angle cameras and long- and short-range measuring sensors. Because the system can be installed in traffic control posts, the police can also conveniently conduct speed checks from the police station using day and night HD digital wide-angle thermal imaging cameras and long- and short-range measurement sensors. This can encourage more considerate driving behavior. This also includes a monitoring system for the "location of guideposts," which is not part of the invention and lists all traffic guideposts with their locations. Details of the list may include the following, specific to each federal state: A = guidepost number, county, B = federal state, C = coordinates (latitude/longitude), D = nearest town/city. The warning light units, which are not part of the invention, are intended to alert the overtaking driver to potential dangers, such as oncoming traffic, as this system is designed to detect whether the overtaking driver has activated the turn signal/indicator; this system only works if the driver also activates the turn signal/indicator. It may be provided that the traffic guidepost with position light is designed using LED technology. The traffic guideposts with additional position light, which according to the invention can also burn during the day and/or preferably at dawn and/or dusk, i.e. traffic guideposts with Traffic Day Light preferably in LED technology, are produced according to the invention in transparent plastic construction. In this traffic daylight system, the black lines are used as a light-emitting surface, thus ensuring that the driver can keep an eye on the course of the road even in bad weather conditions during the day, such as heavy rain, etc. According to the invention, the road guidance elements, such as a curve, will light up in a different color than the straight road guidance; these light inserts are to be considered as a whole component, both in manufacturing and assembly. All subsequent statements are merely supplementary information intended to improve understanding and provide a more in-depth explanation of the topic in general. Features or figures that actually belong to the invention, along with their corresponding explanations, are marked as such.
