Description
The invention relates to a covering device with the features of the first independent claim, a vehicle door with the features of the further independent claim, a vehicle with the features of the last independent device claim, and a method with the features of the independent method claim. To create a homogeneous overall appearance and reduce aerodynamic drag, there is a growing trend to integrate door opening devices, particularly door handles, into the vehicle's exterior design. Solutions exist where a door handle is flush with the outer skin of the vehicle door, at least when not in use. However, even this integration of the door handle results in visually and aerodynamically disadvantageous gaps or edges on the outer skin of the vehicle door. It is therefore an object of the present invention to overcome at least one of the disadvantages described above, at least partially. In particular, it is an object of the invention to provide a covering device, a vehicle door or door module, and a vehicle that enable an improvement in vehicle aerodynamics and/or the realization of a homogeneous overall appearance and a high level of user comfort. The foregoing problem is solved by a covering device with the features of the first independent claim, by a vehicle door with the features of the further independent claim, by a vehicle with the features of the last independent device claim, and by a method with the features of the independent method claim. Further features and details of the invention will become apparent from the dependent claims, the description, and the drawings. Features and details described in connection with the covering device according to the invention naturally also apply in connection with the vehicle door according to the invention and/or in connection with the vehicle according to the invention, and vice versa, so that the disclosure of the individual aspects of the invention always includes, or allows for, reciprocal reference. According to the invention, a covering device for covering, at least partially, a window recess of a vehicle is provided, comprising a base body for covering, at least partially, the window recess, and a handle element movable between a passive position and an active position relative to the base body, wherein a recess is formed in the base body and a handle recess is formed in the handle element, wherein at least one actuating element for triggering a change of state on at least one locking device of the vehicle or the vehicle door is arranged in the handle recess, wherein in the passive position of the handle element the recess of the base body is closed or covered by an outer surface of the handle element, in particular so that access through the recess and/or actuation of the actuating element, preferably by a user, is prevented, and wherein in the active position of the handle element the handle recess of the handle element is arranged, at least partially, in overlap with the recess in the base body, in particular so that access through the recess into the handle recess, preferably by a user, is prevented. is feasible. In other words, a covering device is proposed which is intended to cover, at least partially, a window recess of a vehicle, in particular a window recess of a vehicle door. The covering device comprises a base body for covering the window recess, at least partially, and a handle element movable between a passive position and an active position relative to the base body. A recess is further formed in the base body, and a grip recess is formed in the handle element, wherein at least one actuating element is arranged in the grip recess, and a change of state at at least one locking device of the vehicle or the vehicle door can be triggered by actuating the actuating element, in particular by a user of the vehicle. It is further provided that, in the passive position of the handle element, the recess in the base body is covered or closed by an outer surface of the handle element, in particular so that access through the recess and/or actuation of the actuating element is prevented. Furthermore, it is provided that in the active position of the handle element, the recess in the base body is arranged, at least partially, in overlap with the handle recess of the handle element, in particular so that engagement through the recess into the handle recess and/or actuation of the actuating element is possible. The cover device according to the invention offers the advantage that the function of the door is preserved. The opening is integrated into a cover, making it discreet yet user-friendly on the vehicle. Window channel covers are proven elements for the exterior design of a vehicle. In this way, the door opening function is seamlessly integrated into the overall appearance of the vehicle. Distracting gaps or edges in the outer skin of the vehicle door can be eliminated, resulting in a homogeneous overall impression of the vehicle and simultaneously improve
