Description
The invention relates to a handle arrangement with the features of the first independent claim, a cover device with the features of the second independent claim, and a motor vehicle door with the features of the third independent claim. There is a need for vehicles with door handles that are aesthetically pleasing while simultaneously meeting safety regulations. So-called flush-mounted handles or door handles at least partially satisfy these design requirements. However, they must also comply with safety regulations. It is particularly important that first responders can access the occupants from outside the vehicle in an emergency. With doors featuring minimalist handles or flush-mounted handles recessed into the bodywork, it can be difficult for first responders to gain access to the vehicle in an emergency. From the WO 2004/079137 A1 A handle arrangement is known solely for emergency use, allowing for purely mechanical operation of the locking mechanism. This involves pulling out a handle located within a cover plate for the door. This handle is connected to the locking mechanism via a Bowden cable, enabling mechanical operation. However, the ergonomics are disadvantageous, as the user must remove the handle from the cover plate. Another variant is designed as a folding mechanism with a complex hinge. Also from the FR 3096713 A1 and the DE 102019 117 779 A1 Handle designs are known that feature a minimalist design and allow for electronic actuation of the locking mechanism. A disadvantage of these disclosed handle designs is the always open engagement area, which is susceptible to dirt and accidental activation, particularly in car washes. Furthermore, these disclosed handle designs always require a recess in the vehicle body, which introduces additional design disadvantages and increases susceptibility to external environmental influences. It is therefore an object of the present invention to overcome at least one of the disadvantages described above, at least partially. In particular, it is an object of the invention to provide a handle arrangement, a cover device, and a motor vehicle door that meet the safety requirements and at the same time offer better protection against external environmental influences. The foregoing problem is solved by a handle arrangement having the features of the first independent claim, by a cover device having the features of the second independent claim, and by a motor vehicle door having the features of the third independent claim. Further features and details of the invention will become apparent from the dependent claims, the description, and the drawings. Features and details described in connection with the handle arrangement according to the invention naturally also apply in connection with the cover device and/or the motor vehicle door according to the invention, and vice versa, so that the disclosure of the individual aspects of the invention always includes, or allows for, reciprocal reference. The invention provides a handle arrangement for operating a locking device of a motor vehicle door, wherein the handle arrangement can be arranged on a cover device of the motor vehicle door, comprising at least one handle body, wherein the handle body can be moved into at least a rest position and an operating position, wherein the handle body can be arranged flush with the cover device in the rest position and forms an engagement area in the operating position, further comprising a sensor unit, in particular arranged in the handle body, for detecting a user. According to the invention, the handle body is designed to be foldable and is arranged essentially perpendicular to the cover device in the operating position. The handle arrangement according to the invention makes it possible to provide an opening aid for the door that is ergonomically advantageous and at the same time less susceptible to environmental influences. The cover device can in particular be a channel strip or part of a channel strip (in the area of the transition from the door panel to the window of the door). Such cover devices or channel strips are arranged on the motor vehicle door in the area of the window panes. The cover devices serve in particular to protect the transition from the body to the door and window from moisture, dirt, and the like, while simultaneously acting as a design element. Due to their placement on the door, intuitive operation by the user is possible, and design specifications can be easily implemented because the vehicle body (including the door panel) does not require an additional recess for a retractable handle. Within the scope of the invention, the design on a channel strip can also include the handle being... order is arranged directly below or above the shaft edge. The motor vehicle door can preferably be designed as a side door, specifically a front or rear passenger door, but within the spirit and scope of the present invention any vehicle door, including swing doors
