Description
The invention relates to a handle device and a handheld vacuum cleaner. A handheld vacuum cleaner is usually equipped with a battery for cordless operation. The EP 3 349 633 B1 It reveals a pistol grip with a battery located at its free end. The approach presented here aims to create an improved handle device and an improved handheld vacuum cleaner. According to the invention, this problem is solved by a handle device and a handheld vacuum cleaner with the features of the main claims. Advantageous embodiments and further developments of the invention are described in the following dependent claims. The advantages achievable with the invention consist of making it easier for the user to handle a battery-operated household appliance, for example a handheld vacuum cleaner. A handle for a household appliance has the following features: a handle with a free end and a device-side end opposite the free end; a battery-side connection for connecting a battery to operate the household appliance, wherein the battery-side connection is located at the device-side end of the handle; and a component-side interface for connecting at least one component of the household appliance, wherein the component-side interface is arranged at a distance from the battery-side connection at the device-side end of the handle. The household appliance can be a battery-operated device, such as a vacuum cleaner, a mop, or similar. The handle allows the user to hold and operate the appliance. The handle can be shaped like a familiar grip, for example, to be held by the user's hand. The component-side interface allows the appliance's necessary component for a specific function—for example, a vacuum cleaner's blower for suctioning dust and dirt—to be connected to the handle. The battery-side connection allows the electrical and mechanical connection of the battery used to operate the appliance to the handle. The battery can be a rechargeable battery. By positioning the battery and component on opposite or adjacent sides of the same end of the handle, the connection and interface allow for optimal weight distribution between these two parts, resulting in more comfortable handling for the user. For example, this makes it possible to easily rotate the handle when operating a vacuum cleaner. The battery-side connection and the component-side interface can be located on opposite or adjacent sides of the device-side end. Positioning the connection and interface on opposite sides of the device-side end optimizes weight distribution. Positioning the connection and interface on adjacent sides of the handle provides more space for the user's hand. While this reduces the leverage effect of the battery on the device-side end of the handle, the spatial arrangement of the battery and other components, with the battery and components positioned at an angle to each other, still results in a favorable tilting moment when the handheld vacuum cleaner rotates along its longitudinal axis. The device-side end of the handle can form a connecting piece that links the battery-side connection and the component-side interface. Starting from this connecting piece, the battery, at least one component, and a handle section leading to the free end of the handle can extend in different directions when the household appliance is ready for operation. The handle can accommodate the battery, which is connected to the battery-side port. The battery can be either permanently or removable connected to the port. Connecting the battery to a separate port allows for easy battery replacement. The battery can provide the electrical energy required to operate the household appliance. The battery can have a rod-shaped housing. The battery cells can be enclosed within this housing. The rod-shaped design allows for a slim profile and, compared to a compact design, offers greater flexibility. Improved leverage is achieved when the battery is used as a counterweight to at least one component. The battery can be angled relative to the handle, for example at an angle between 70° and 90°. This angled position offers greater user comfort, as it prevents the battery from being touched by the hand gripping the handle. A handheld vacuum cleaner has the following characteristics: a aforementioned handle device; and a blower unit which is connected as at least one component along a longitudinal axis of the handheld vacuum cleaner at the component-side interface. A handheld vacuum cleaner is a compact and lightweight vacuum cleaner that can be held by one user, offering greater mobility compared to a standard vacuum cleaner and thus making it easier to clean hard-to-reach places and corners. Thanks to its battery, the handheld vacuum cleaner can be cordless. The blower unit can be permanently attached or, for example, detachable by the user at the component interface. The blower unit can include the components of a vacuum cleaner responsible for airflow and dust filtration, such as an electric motor, a
