Description

The invention relates to a handle device according to the preamble of claim 1. It further relates to a handle device module with such a handle device. Retractable door handles, or flush-mounted exterior door handles, sit flush with the vehicle body and are only visible or accessible when needed. In most systems, the handle extends automatically from the body at the push of a button or by touching the door handle. They often work in conjunction with an electromechanical locking mechanism that only unlocks the door when the handle is activated. The driver can then grasp the extended handle and open the door. Flush-mounted door handles typically incorporate an electromechanical mechanism that moves the handle from its resting position to the operating position. In this position, the user can open the door by simply pulling it or send an opening signal to the locking mechanism by pressing a button. These devices offer the advantage that the door handle remains invisible when not in use, contributing to a seamless and aesthetically pleasing design while also reducing air resistance. A significant drawback of this technology, however, is its dependence on a power supply. In the event of a power outage, the system cannot be easily activated, potentially preventing the door from being opened. This poses a challenge for emergency access, often necessitating mechanical emergency release systems, which require additional space and design complexity. Another issue is the limited installation space within vehicle doors, as the electromechanical mechanism that extends and retracts the handle requires sufficient room. This space is often particularly limited in modern, increasingly compact vehicle designs. From the EP 3 194 696 B1 A handle device for a locking device for a vehicle door is known, which has a handle part that can be movably mounted relative to the door, wherein the locking device can be connected to the handle part via a connecting element and the handle part serves to actuate the locking device, and wherein the handle part is movable at least between a rest position and an operating position, wherein in the rest position the handle part can in particular be designed flush with the door. Based on the disadvantages described above, the invention aims to provide an improved handle device that overcomes the disadvantages of the prior art. This problem is solved by a handle device according to claim 1. The handle device for a locking device for a vehicle door has a handle part that can be movably mounted relative to the door, comprising a connecting element for connecting the handle part to the locking device, wherein the handle part serves to actuate the locking device. The handle part is arc-shaped and has at least one receptacle for a pivot axis which is parallel to an imaginary radial direction of the arc-shaped handle part, wherein the handle device has a crank which can be driven by an actuator and which has an engagement opening into which an engagement element arranged on the handle part dips. Advantageous embodiments of the invention are the subject of the dependent claims. The imaginary radial direction is perpendicular to a plane in which the arc of the handle section runs. The pivot axis is designed such that the pivoting of the handle section also occurs essentially along the arc defined by the shape of the handle section. Advantageously, the handle device includes a stop element connected to the handle part. This prevents the handle part from being accidentally rotated too far when the actuator turns or pivots it. An end stop is thus clearly defined. The actuating element is advantageously designed as a cable pulley, which is connected to a pulley that can be actuated by the handle part in the fully extended state. The engagement opening, i.e. the opening in the crank, is preferably designed as an elongated hole. In a preferred embodiment, the handle end of the handle part comprises a flange surface via which a seal to the door can take place. To illuminate the handle, light can be directed through the handle and shone onto the door panel and/or the floor. The invention also relates to a handle device module comprising a housing in which the handle device is arranged, and comprising a stop block and a crank connected to the handle. A fixed actuator for rotating the crank, wherein the actuator is arranged such that the pivot axis and an actuator axis are spaced apart from each other. The actuator axis essentially defines the axis at which the actuator is connected to the crank and corresponds, for example, to the axis of rotation of a shaft of the actuator. The handle mechanism advantageously includes a stop block for the stop element in a fully retracted position, wherein a torsion spring is arranged between the handle and the stop block. This spring is pre-tensioned by actuating the handle towards the fully retracted position, thus enabling an emergency release function. Pressing the grip surface
