Description
The proposed solution relates to a locking device with a first locking part and a second locking part that can be connected to each other and, in a connected state, are secured against separation from each other by at least one locking element. In a proposed locking device, the first locking part has a first engagement element, here in the form of an engagement opening, and the second locking part can be attached to the first locking part along an insertion direction and has a second engagement element that can be inserted into the engagement opening when the second locking part is attached to the first locking part. At least one locking element is provided on the second engagement element, which is adjustable between a release position and a locking position. In the locking position, this locking element blocks the connected first and second locking parts from separating from each other, thus locking the connected first and second locking parts together in their connected state. A locking element is provided to prevent the at least one locking element from being moved to the release position in the locking position. This locking element is adjustably mounted on the second locking part. Such a locking device is, for example, constructed from the following: WO 2011/029582 A1 known. In a locking device with first and second locking parts and a locking element that secures a locking element in its locked position, the challenge regularly arises of making the operation of the locking device as comfortable and intuitive as possible for the user, without compromising the reliable securing of the connected state of the locking parts. In this respect, the proposed solution represents a further improvement. In a locking device according to a first aspect of the proposed solution, the first and second locking parts, which can be attached to one another, have first and second engagement elements that can be brought into engagement with one another. The locking element is provided on the first or second engagement element of the first or second locking part, which has at least one locking element. To lock the at least one locking element in the locked position, the locking element is adjustable from a retained position to a locked position on the first or second locking part, which has at least one locking element. - the locking element is held in the retained position by the first or second locking part, which has at least one locking element, before the second locking part is attached to the first locking part, and can only be moved from the retained position towards the locked position by overcoming a retaining force and/or by adjusting the at least one locking element into the locking position, and - to adjust the locking element into the locking position, an actuating force can be applied at least partially by at least one first magnetic element of the second or first locking part, which does not have at least one locking element, and at least one second magnetic element of the locking element, wherein the second magnetic element and the first magnetic element interact magnetically to apply the actuating force when the first and second engagement elements are at least partially engaged with each other. The proposed solution is based on the fundamental idea of assigning a defined retaining position to the locking element in the first or second locking part (which has at least one locking element) when the first and second locking parts are unconnected. This ensures that the locking element remains in this retaining position until the first and second locking parts are connected. Only when or after the first and second locking parts are joined should the locking element be allowed to move into the locked position, thus securing a locked state of both locking parts achieved via the at least one locking element. A magnetically controlled adjustment of the locking element into the locking position, which is triggered by the at least partial engagement of the first and second engagement elements (e.g., by inserting one engagement element sufficiently far into an engagement opening formed by the other engagement element), can therefore only take place when the actuating force, at least partially applied magnetically, exceeds the holding force with which the locking element is held in the holding position and/or the at least one locking element has already released the locking element. In other words, a locking device according to the first aspect of the proposed solution has, in particular, a retaining device which secures the locking element – before the second locking part is attached to the first locking part – to the first or second locking element having at least one locking element. The locking element is held in the retracted position and the locking element is locked against movement from the retracted position towards the locked position until the restoring force is overcome and/or until at least one locking ele
