DE-102025113839-B3 - Support body for supporting a mounting bracket on the spare wheel well of a vehicle, device and arrangement thereof, and method for producing the arrangement
Abstract
The invention relates to a support body for supporting a mounting bracket on the spare wheel well of a vehicle. The support body is designed to be inserted into the spare wheel well together with the mounting bracket and is positioned in a conical annular gap between the mounting bracket on the one hand and a beveled lateral inner wall of the spare wheel well on the other. This prevents the mounting bracket from being forced out of the spare wheel well when a working cylinder attached to the mounting bracket presses the mounting bracket towards the lateral inner wall of the spare wheel well to straighten the rear of the vehicle. Essential to the invention is the support body, which is a tube filled with bulk material and has hook-and-loop fasteners extending longitudinally along the support body for reversible connection with hook-and-loop fasteners on the mounting bracket and the spare wheel well. The invention also relates to a device for introducing the forces of a working cylinder into the spare wheel well of a vehicle with the mounting bracket and the support body, as well as an arrangement of this device in the spare wheel well and a method for manufacturing the arrangement.

Description
The invention relates to a support body for supporting a mounting bracket on the spare wheel well of a vehicle according to the preamble of claim 1. The invention further relates to a device for introducing the forces of a working cylinder into the spare wheel well of a vehicle according to the preamble of claim 8 and an arrangement of this device in the spare wheel well as a method for manufacturing the arrangement. The invention relates in particular to the straightening of a dented rear end of a vehicle after an accident. For this purpose, a working cylinder is attached to the inside of the vehicle's rear. A mounting bracket inserted into the spare wheel well serves as a support for the working cylinder. Such a mounting bracket is described in the German patent specification. DE 10 2020 005 863 B4 of the applicant. In many vehicles on the market, the ring-shaped inner side wall of the spare wheel well is beveled to facilitate spare wheel removal. The spare wheel well therefore has a larger diameter at its upper edge than at its base. This design necessitates that the mounting bracket, along with support elements, be inserted into the spare wheel well to prevent the hydraulic jack from pushing the bracket out when the rear of the vehicle is being straightened. DE 10 2020 005 863 B4 It was therefore proposed to place wedges or curved rods, creating a wedge shape, between the mounting bracket and a second bracket in the spare wheel well. It has been shown that while the proposed supports can reliably hold the mounting bracket in the spare wheel well, they often cause local deformation and thus damage to the well. Furthermore, since the slopes of the beveled inner walls of the spare wheel wells vary between different vehicle types, many different support elements must be kept on hand, or unsuitable support elements must be used, further increasing the risk of damaging the spare wheel well. The invention therefore addresses the problem of reducing the risk of damage to a vehicle's spare wheel well when dent removal at the rear of the vehicle using a hydraulic ram, by inserting a retaining bracket serving as a support for the ram, together with a support body designed to prevent the retaining bracket from being pushed out of the spare wheel well. In particular, a support body, a device comprising the support body, an arrangement thereof, and a method for manufacturing the arrangement are to be provided. The invention solves this problem with a support body according to claim 1, with a device according to claim 8, with an arrangement according to claim 9 and with a method according to claim 10. Advantageous embodiments of the invention are specified in the dependent claims. In a support body for supporting a mounting bracket on the spare wheel well of a vehicle, wherein the support body is designed to be inserted into the spare wheel well together with the mounting bracket and to be arranged in an approximately conical annular gap between the outer wall of the mounting bracket, which is bent approximately according to a section of the circumference of the spare wheel intended for the spare wheel well, on the one hand, and a beveled lateral inner wall of the spare wheel well on the other hand, in order to counteract the mounting bracket being pushed out of the spare wheel well when a working cylinder, applied to the rear of the vehicle on the one hand and to the mounting bracket on the other hand, presses the mounting bracket towards the lateral inner wall of the spare wheel well, it is essential to the invention that the support body is a tube filled with bulk material, which has a first hook and loop fastener extending longitudinally in the support body and a second hook and loop fastener extending longitudinally in the support body, wherein the first hook and loop fastener and the second hook and loop fastener are attached to each other in the circumferential direction of the tube. are arranged on opposite sides of the hose in order to enable hook and loop connections between the first hook and loop fastener and at least a third hook and loop fastener on the outer wall of the mounting bracket and between the second hook and loop fastener and at least a fourth hook and loop fastener on the side inner wall of the spare wheel well, and thus to reversibly connect the mounting bracket to the spare wheel well by means of the support body and the hook and loop connections. The bulk material can also be referred to as granules. Due to its granular filling, the support body according to the invention adapts flexibly to the optionally structured surface of the spare wheel well and can therefore bear evenly across the surface of the spare wheel well without locally overloading and deforming the surface, as can occur with hard wedges. Under pressure, particularly from the working cylinder, it stabilizes. The support body automatically adjusts its shape, with the granules that make up the bulk material interlocking. This
