Abstract

The present disclosure relates to a connector housing (100) with a sealing ring reinforcement (200), comprising an elastic body (110) with a sealing ring receiving section (111), wherein the sealing ring reinforcement (200) is provided at a position of the elastic body (110) relative to the sealing ring receiving section (111), and the sealing ring reinforcement (200) is formed integrally with the elastic body (110) to maintain the shape of the sealing ring receiving section (111) of the elastic body (110). The connector housing with the sealing ring reinforcement of the present disclosure is reinforced at the section where the sealing ring is provided, while the housing itself is elastic, thereby improving the structural strength and maintaining a stable size and non-deformability.

Claims (11)

  1. A connector housing (100) with a sealing ring reinforcement (200), comprising an elastic body (110) with a sealing ring receiving section (111), wherein the sealing ring reinforcement (200) is provided at a position of the elastic body (110) in relation to the sealing ring receiving section (111), and the sealing ring reinforcement (200) is formed integrally with the elastic body (110) to maintain the shape of the sealing ring receiving section (111) of the elastic body (110).
  2. The connector housing (100) after Claim 1 , characterized in that an outer circumferential shape of the sealing ring reinforcement (200) corresponds to that of the sealing ring (300) and the sealing ring reinforcement (200) is arranged in the elastic body (110) parallel to the sealing ring (300).
  3. The connector housing (100) after Claim 1 or 2 , characterized in that the sealing ring reinforcement (200) is embedded in the elastic body (110).
  4. The connector housing (100) after Claim 1 , characterized in that the sealing ring reinforcement (200) is provided with a plurality of through holes (210) and the plurality of through holes (210) is evenly distributed along a longitudinal direction of the sealing ring reinforcement (200).
  5. The connector housing (100) after Claim 1 , characterized in that a flange (220) is provided on the outer circumference and on the inner circumference of the sealing ring reinforcement (200).
  6. The connector housing (100) after Claim 1 , characterized in that the sealing ring reinforcement (200) is provided with a reinforcing rib and the reinforcing rib extends along a longitudinal direction of the sealing ring reinforcement (200).
  7. The connector housing (100) after Claim 3 , characterized in that the sealing ring receiving section (111) of the elastic body (110) is a groove (111a) and the sealing ring reinforcement (200) is arranged below the bottom of the groove (111a).
  8. The connector housing (100) after Claim 1 or 2 , characterized in that the sealing ring (300) has a generally rectangular frame shape and the sealing ring reinforcement (200) has the same generally rectangular frame shape as the sealing ring (300).
  9. A connector (400) comprising a first connector housing (410), a second connector housing (420) and a sealing ring (300), wherein the first connector housing (410) is the connector housing according to one of the Claims 1 until 8 is and the first connector housing (410) and the second connector housing (420) are connected to each other via the sealing ring (300).
  10. The plug after Claim 9 , characterized in that the sealing ring (300) is fastened in the sealing ring receiving section (111) of the first connector housing (410).
  11. The plug after Claim 9 , characterized in that the sealing ring (300) is attached in the second connector housing (420).

Description

TECHNICAL AREA The present disclosure relates to the technical field of connectors, in particular a connector housing with a sealing ring reinforcement and a connector with the same. BACKGROUND Existing connectors typically have a rigid metal housing. While this type of housing offers high mechanical strength, the associated forming process is complex, time-consuming, and expensive. Connectors with such rigid housings would deform after prolonged use in harsh environments, such as high temperatures and humidity. Furthermore, an internal sealing ring would warp and deform over time due to aging at high temperatures, compromising the seal. Therefore, there is a need for a connector housing with a reinforced sealing ring receptacle that can prevent deformation of both the receptacle and the sealing ring itself. SUMMARY To overcome the aforementioned or other shortcomings of the prior art, the present disclosure proposes a connector housing with a sealing ring reinforcement. The housing is reinforced at the point where the sealing ring is provided. At the same time, the housing itself is elastic, so that the structural strength is improved, the housing size remains stable, and the housing does not deform. According to one aspect of the present disclosure, a connector housing with a sealing ring reinforcement is provided, comprising an elastic body, wherein the elastic body includes a sealing ring receiving section, and the sealing ring reinforcement is provided at a position of the elastic body in relation to the sealing ring receiving section, and the sealing ring reinforcement is formed integrally with the elastic body to maintain the shape of the sealing ring receiving section of the elastic body. In one embodiment, the outer circumference of the sealing ring reinforcement corresponds to that of the sealing ring, and the sealing ring reinforcement is arranged so that it runs parallel to the sealing ring in the elastic body. In one embodiment, the sealing ring reinforcement is embedded in the elastic body. In one embodiment, the sealing ring reinforcement is provided with a plurality of through holes, and the plurality of through holes is evenly distributed along the longitudinal direction of the sealing ring reinforcement. In one embodiment, a flange is provided on both the outer and inner circumference of the sealing ring reinforcement. In one embodiment, the sealing ring reinforcement is provided with a reinforcing rib, and the reinforcing rib extends along the longitudinal direction of the sealing ring reinforcement. In one embodiment, the sealing ring receiving section of the elastic body is a groove, and the sealing ring reinforcement is arranged below the bottom of the groove. In one embodiment, the sealing ring has a generally rectangular frame shape, and the sealing ring reinforcement has the same generally rectangular frame shape as the sealing ring. According to another aspect of the present disclosure, a connector is provided comprising a first connector housing, a second connector housing and a sealing ring, wherein the first connector housing is the connector housing mentioned above and the first connector housing and the second connector housing are connected to each other via the sealing ring. In one embodiment, the sealing ring is attached in the sealing ring receiving section of the first connector housing. In one embodiment, the sealing ring is attached to the second connector housing. In the exemplary embodiments mentioned above according to the present disclosure, the connector housing is formed with a sealing ring reinforcement according to the present disclosure, including a metal reinforcement at the sealing ring position. The incorporation of the metal reinforcement into the plastic strengthens the plastic structure at the position of the sealing ring in the housing, and at the same time, the metal reinforcement suppresses deformation of the plastic at the sealing ring position during high-temperature aging. The incorporation of the metal reinforcement into the plastic achieves an insulating effect that The application and design possibilities of the connector are expanded. Furthermore, the plastic molding process is simpler than the metal injection molding process, resulting in lower material and processing costs. Metal reinforcement is provided at the location of the elastic body where the sealing ring is positioned, thus improving structural strength and ensuring greater dimensional stability.
