Description
The present invention relates to a straddle-seat vehicle and mainly to a vehicle body front structure thereof. As an example of a four-wheeled vehicle, a vehicle has been proposed that can perform some or all driving operations, such as acceleration and braking, on the side of an ECU (electronic control unit), i.e., provide driving assistance ( JP 2017 - 19 308 A ). According to JP 2017 - 19 308 A A plurality of driving assistance sensors, such as cameras, radar and the like, are arranged around a vehicle body, and the driving assistance is realized based on the detection results of the driving environment of the four-wheeled vehicle by the driving assistance sensors. In general, it is difficult to provide sufficient space for the arrangement of vehicle components in a splay-seat vehicle, such as a motorcycle (see JP 2012 - 176 755 A Therefore, in order to install a suitable arrangement for driving assistance on a straddle-seat vehicle, consideration must be given to how driving assistance sensors can be installed in the straddle-seat vehicle. The JP 2017 - 39 487 A shows a straddle-seat vehicle according to the preamble of claim 1. One object of the present invention is to realize the installation of a driving assistance sensor in a straddle-seat vehicle by means of a relatively simple arrangement. One aspect of the present invention relates to a straddle-seat vehicle with a body frame comprising a steering head tube and a main frame extending from the steering head tube to a rear, a headlight unit provided on a front of the body frame, a support strut attached to the body frame for supporting a predetermined vehicle component on the front of the body frame, a ride-assist sensor attached to the support strut on an underside of the headlight unit, a front wheel attached to an underside of the ride-assist sensor from the steering head tube via a front fork, and a front fender arranged between the front wheel and the ride-assist sensor, characterized in that the ride-assist sensor is attached to the support strut via a plate-shaped mounting element, the mounting element being designed to protect the ride-assist sensor on its underside, that a suspension mechanism is provided on the front fork to allow the front wheel to oscillate with the front fender, and that in a front view a recessed section extending towards a top is recessed, is provided on a lower edge section of a housing of the headlight unit, and the driving assistance sensor is attached in such a way that at least an upper section is accommodated in the recessed section, and that the front fender has such a shape that part of an upper surface located on the underside of the driving assistance sensor is recessed, so that interference between the front fender and the driving assistance sensor is prevented when the front fender is raised to a fully raised state. According to the present invention, it is possible to install a driving assistance sensor in a suitable manner in a straddle seat vehicle. 1 shows a right-hand side view to illustrate an example of the arrangement of a straddle-seat vehicle according to the embodiment; 2 shows a right-hand side view to illustrate an example of the internal arrangement of the straddle-seat vehicle; 3A shows a view to illustrate an example of the arrangement of a headlight unit; and 3B shows a view to illustrate another example of the arrangement of the headlight unit; and 4 shows a view to illustrate an aspect of the straddle-seat vehicle at the time of driving over a step. Embodiments of the present invention will now be described with reference to the accompanying drawings. It should be noted that the drawings represent schematic views showing structures or arrangements according to the embodiments, and the dimensions of parts shown in the drawings do not necessarily reflect reality. In the drawings, identical reference numerals denote identical elements or components, and descriptions of recurring content are omitted below. 1 Figure 1 shows a right-hand side view of an example of the construction of a straddle-seat vehicle 1 according to the embodiment. For easier understanding of the construction, the following is shown in the figure. 1 An X-axis, a Y-axis, and a Z-axis are shown, which are orthogonal to each other (this also applies to further drawings described below). (gen). The X direction corresponds to the front-and-back direction of the vehicle body, the Y direction corresponds to the width direction or the left-and-right direction of the vehicle body, and the Z direction corresponds to the perpendicular direction of the vehicle body. In this description, terms "front/back,""left/right(side),""top/bottom," and the like represent relative positions with respect to the vehicle body. For example, terms "front,""front," and the like correspond to the +X direction, and terms "back,""rear," and the like correspond to the -X direction. The straddle-seat vehicle 1 is a type of vehicle that a rider operates w
