Abstract

A crane is provided that includes a device capable of more efficiently capturing an image of environments with a smaller blind spot. The crane (1) comprises a counterweight (32) and an upper structure (31) behind which the counterweight (32) is located. The transport position width (W1) of a transported configuration (5) containing the upper structure (31) is less than the width of the counterweight (32). The crane further comprises at least two side cameras (61, 62) that image a left-right direction from the upper structure (31). The two side cameras (61, 62) are arranged at a first position (P1a) on the left side and a first position (P1b) on the right side, respectively, outside the transport position width (W1). The arrangement of the two side cameras (61, 62) can be changed to a second position (P2a) on the left side and a second position (P2b) on the right side, respectively.

Claims (9)

  1. Crane comprising: a counterweight; an upper structure behind which the counterweight is arranged, wherein a transport position width of a transported configuration containing the upper structure is less than a width of the counterweight; and at least two side cameras imaging a left-right direction from the upper structure, the two side cameras being arranged at a first position on a left side and a first position on a right side accordingly outside a range of the transport position width, and the two side cameras being arranged in a second position on the left side and a second position on the right side, which differ accordingly from the first position on the left side and the first position on the right side.
  2. crane after Claim 1 , wherein the left and right second positions are positioned within the transport position width of the transported configuration.
  3. crane after Claim 2 , wherein the two side cameras can be changed in arrangement from the first positions to the second positions without being separated from the upper structure.
  4. crane after Claim 3 , wherein the upper structure above the upper structure includes a handrail whose height is changeable to a first height and a second height which is lower than the first height, and the side cameras are supported by the handrail and are configured to be positioned at the second positions in a state in which the height of the handrail is set to the second height.
  5. crane after Claim 4 , whereby the handrail is configured so that it can be moved up and down together with the side cameras.
  6. crane after Claim 1 , wherein the left and right first positions in the left-right direction of the upper structure are correspondingly closer to the left and right ends of the counterweight than to the left and right ends of the transport position width.
  7. crane after Claim 1 , wherein, where one side and the other side of the left-right direction are designated as a first side and a second side, in plan view, a distance from a centerline passing through a center of rotation of the upper structure and extending in a front-back direction to an end of the counterweight on the first side is longer than a distance from the centerline to an end of the counterweight on the second side, in the left-right direction of the upper structure, the first position on the first side is positioned on a centerline side of the end of the counterweight on the first side, and in the left-right direction of the upper structure, the first position on the second side is positioned outside the end of the counterweight on the second side.
  8. crane after Claim 1 , in top view, the two side cameras at the left and right first positions overlap a band-shaped reference area that passes through a center of rotation of the upper structure and extends in the left-right direction.
  9. crane after one of the Claims 1 until 8 , further comprising: one or more cameras that image the surroundings of the upper structure and the counterweight; and a processing device that synthesizes a bird's-eye view image of the crane based on images from the two side cameras and the one or more cameras.

Description

Technical field The present invention relates to a crane. State of the art PTL 1 describes a crane equipped with multiple cameras that map the area around a vehicle body. A large number of cameras are required for this crane to minimize blind spots. List of citations Patent literature [PTL 1] Japanese Unexamined Patent Publication No. 2020-189749 Summary of the invention Technical problem Cranes exist with various characteristics, such as a crane with a narrow counterweight and a crane with a wide counterweight. With a crane that has a wide counterweight, a specific blind spot is likely to be created when imaging the surroundings. The present inventors have investigated whether it is possible to efficiently capture an image of the surroundings by arranging the cameras according to the crane's characteristics. One object of the present invention is to provide a crane that includes a device which can more efficiently capture an image of environments with a smaller blind spot. Solution to the problem According to one aspect of the present invention, a crane is provided comprising a counterweight, an upper structure behind which the counterweight is arranged, wherein a transport position width of a transported configuration containing the upper structure is less than a width of the counterweight, and at least two side cameras imaging a left-right direction from the upper structure, wherein the two side cameras are arranged at a first position on a left side and a first position on a right side accordingly outside a region of the transport position width. Advantageous effects of the invention With the present invention, in the crane where the width of the counterweight is greater than the transport position width of the transported configuration containing the upper structure, an effect is achieved in which an image of environments with a smaller blind angle can be efficiently captured by the two side cameras.
