Description

The invention relates to a measuring disconnect terminal for switching a current transformer to an electricity meter, wherein the measuring disconnect terminal has a housing having a current transformer connection side, on which at least one first and one second current transformer-side conductor connection for connecting at least one contact of the current transformer is provided, and an electricity meter connection side, on which at least one first and one second electricity meter-side conductor connection for connecting at least one contact of the electricity meter is provided, wherein the measuring disconnect terminal has at least one first movable switching element and a second movable switching element separate from the first switching element, which are insulated from each other, wherein the measuring disconnect terminal has a first external actuating element coupled to the first switching element and a second external actuating element separate from the first external actuating element and coupled to the second switching element, wherein the first and the second external actuating elements are independently movable back and forth between a first actuating position facing the current transformer connection side and a second actuating position facing the electricity meter side. Such a measuring disconnect terminal, also known as a current transformer disconnect terminal or current transformer measuring disconnect terminal, is made from the DE 44 44 551 A1 It is known that, to prevent damage to the current transformer, it must never be operated with the secondary side open. Therefore, it is necessary to short-circuit the current transformer before, for example, carrying out measurement and testing work on circuits connected to the measuring disconnect terminal. The invention is based on the objective of providing a further improved measuring disconnect terminal. This problem is solved in a measuring disconnect terminal of the type mentioned above by having a short-circuit bridge integrated into the housing. This bridge electrically connects the first switching element to the second switching element in at least one position of both the first and second actuating elements. Such a short-circuit bridge, permanently installed in the housing, ensures that the necessary short-circuiting of the current transformer to prevent damage is carried out safely and reliably, and does not fail because the user forgets to connect the separate short-circuit bridge required by the state of the art to the measuring disconnect terminal. By integrating the short-circuit bridge into the housing, the short-circuit function of the measuring disconnect terminal is protected against damage or tampering. Furthermore, the measuring disconnect terminal can be designed more compactly overall. In particular, no external connections are required for attaching an external short-circuit bridge. Overall, the invention thus enables simpler handling of the measuring disconnect terminal and a reduction in the number of terminals per circuit required for a converter circuit. A further advantage is that the user only needs to install a single measuring disconnect terminal in the electrical installation, in contrast to the previously required two disconnect terminals arranged side by side. According to an advantageous embodiment of the invention, the measuring disconnect terminal is configured, in an operating position in which the first and second actuating elements are in their second actuating positions, to electrically connect the first current transformer-side conductor terminal to the first electricity meter-side conductor terminal via the first switching element, and to electrically connect the second current transformer-side conductor terminal to the second electricity meter-side conductor terminal via the second switching element, whereby the first and second switching elements are not electrically connected to each other. This operating position allows the current transformer to be connected to the corresponding terminals of the electricity meter on both sides, i.e., via its first and second current transformer-side conductor terminals. In this operating state, the electricity meter can operate normally. The current flows from the current transformer via the first switching element to the electricity meter and from the electricity meter via the second switching element back to the current transformer. According to an advantageous embodiment of the invention, the measuring disconnect terminal is configured to electrically connect the first current transformer-side conductor terminal to the first electricity meter-side conductor terminal via the first switching element in a short-circuit position in which the first and second actuating elements are in a third actuating position located between the first and second actuating positions, and to electrically connect the second current transformer-side conductor terminal to the second elect
