Description
The present invention relates to a trampoline or standing board with a flexible mat and with an edge-side cover collar. Trampolines of this type are well-known from the current state of the art. The problem with most trampolines is that children, as the vast majority of users, get caught between individual segments of the suspension at the edge of the trampoline and can injure themselves there. Balance boards promote balance, strengthen various muscle groups, and encourage all the positive aspects of standing. However, they typically feature a rigid standing surface and a disadvantageous mounting system. Because of the rigid platform (board) on which two feet are positioned, independent foot movements are not possible. Furthermore, such boards are mounted on a movable roller or even a ball bearing. This requires a high degree of concentration and balance, making these boards suitable almost exclusively for athletic purposes. A new, improved standing board with a flexible mat and a frame is being developed in the... DE 20 2024 00 04 67 U1 presented in more detail. Currently, the standard solution for trampolines is to position a cover as a collar over the suspension. Since the suspension elements expand radially during jumping, the cover material can only be attached radially on one side to the jumping mat or the metal frame of the trampoline. A corresponding edge covering is used, among other things, in the DE 20 2007 000 403 U1 As described, when jumping, the cover, which is fixed on one side, sometimes folds over, exposing the suspension. Since children don't always stop jumping to reposition the cover correctly, this also creates a risk of injury. Based on this fundamental consideration, the object of the present invention is therefore to provide a trampoline or a standing board with an improved suspension cover. The present invention solves this problem by providing a trampoline with the features of claim 1. A device of this type, particularly in the form of a standing board and/or trampoline, comprises a metal frame with legs and an annular profile for framing a standing surface. This surface is provided by a flexible mat, which is attached to the annular profile by a suspension. Furthermore, the device has an annular cover collar that projects beyond the edge of the mat, particularly around its circumference, and is attached to the mat. The cover collar is fixed to the suspension by a retainer. The cover collar can be advantageously designed as a one-sided support on the suspension, unlike so-called tension covers. By fixing the hold-down clamp, the cover collar is prevented from folding over when the individual suspension elements of the suspension are stretched, thus preventing unintentional access to the suspension. This reduces the risk of accidents. Advantageous embodiments of the invention are the subject of the dependent claims. The hold-down device can advantageously be designed as an elastic rope or elastic band, which is fixed to the deck collar in certain areas and preferably detachably. Furthermore, the cover collar can have at least one retaining element, preferably several retaining elements, in a fixation area where the hold-down device is fixed, for fixing, preferably releasably, the hold-down device to the cover collar. The releasability can be achieved, for example, by a rope connector, in particular a metallic rope connector, for receiving and releasably fixing two ends of the elastic band or elastic rope. The retaining means can advantageously be designed as hooks, which are preferably arranged equidistantly along an underside of the cover collar. The hold-down device can essentially consist of an elastomer and/or a thermoplastic elastomer. It can, for example, be a fully circumferential elastic ring cable or an elastic cable with end closures. These closures do not necessarily have to be made of an elastic material. Between the fixing areas, unconnected sections may be arranged between the hold-down device and the cover collar, with suspension elements of the suspension being arranged in these unconnected sections between the hold-down device and the cover collar. Provided that If the suspension elements are designed as rope rings, the hold-down can be threaded through the rope rings so that at least part of the respective rope ring is arranged between the hold-down and the cover collar. The retaining elements can be bonded to the cover collar for a secure hold, preferably by gluing or welding. Furthermore, the cover collar can have a visible surface and, perpendicular to it, a material thickness, which is greater, preferably at least twice as thick, as the mat. This provides additional cushioning when the cover is dropped onto the suspension. Advantageously, the hold-down device can be designed as a closed rope ring. Furthermore, the mat with the ring-shaped profile can be fixed by one or more elastic ropes, preferably by one or more rubber ropes. It is particularly advantageous
