Abstract

Description

When gutting/butchering game, it is best and most hygienic to hang the carcass upside down so that blood, sweat, and any intestinal fluids don't run onto the meat. When hanging the carcass by its hind legs with a gutting aid, it's often difficult to position the gallows between them. That's why our gutting aid folds downwards, allowing it to be easily positioned between the hind legs! Then, it can be easily spread open, and the gutting aid, with the carcass attached, can be hung on a hook to prevent it from collapsing. Object of the invention A tool to help hang animals more easily by their hind legs. Background of the invention Because with other butchering aids there was always a problem getting the gallows between the hind legs! Solution A gutting aid that can be folded in both directions. The ends of the aid, which are then closer together, are easier to insert into the tendons of the hind legs. The main ingenious aspect is that the hook on which the door-breaking aid is attached secures the parts before they fold up.
