Description
The present invention relates to an axle link with brake caliper holder for a vehicle axle, comprising a base body with at least one link arm and with an axle receiving section for receiving an axle body, according to the preamble of claim 1, an axle suspension of a vehicle axle for a vehicle with an axle body and at least one axle link according to claim 9 crossing the axle body and supported against the vehicle, as well as a commercial vehicle with the axle suspension according to claim 10. A variety of axle control arms are known from the prior art. The known axle control arms are predominantly designed as solid cast parts. Axle control arms for vehicle axles, which are connected to an axle body, for example by means of positive locking devices, are made, for example, from the EP 2 355 988 B2 and the WO 2011/146163 A2 known. From the DE 100 53 411 B4 A vehicle axle body in monocoque construction is known. This consists of an upper and a lower shell, with the longitudinal control arms each being integrally integrated into the axle body extending transversely to the direction of travel. In the DE 100 55 859 A1 is described a vehicle axle body composed of two longitudinal control arms and a continuous axle tube, wherein the longitudinal control arms are each made of forged steel and are provided with an opening through which the axle tube is passed. From the DE 101 40 856 A1 A vehicle axle assembly with the characteristics specified above is known. It is designed as a rigid axle consisting of two trailing arms and wheel carriers welded to the outside of the trailing arms. From the DE 10 2007 051 501 A1 An axle assembly for a truck is known. The axle assembly includes, among other things, a control arm body that encompasses a control sleeve which is rotationally fixed to the control arm body. The known control arm body is integrally fitted with a brake carrier. The described axle assembly has a manufacturing disadvantage because the control sleeve, which completely surrounds the control arm body, is integrally connected to the brake carrier along with a radially projecting control arm attached to it. Consequently, different control arm bodies or two mutually mirror-symmetrical control sleeves must be available or manufactured for each side of the axle assembly to ensure that the control arms and brake carriers are positioned correctly on both sides. Disclosure of the invention The invention is based on the objective of creating a control arm that can be manufactured cost-effectively, and thus a vehicle axle suspension that can be manufactured cost-effectively, whereby a brake caliper bracket is to be provided as an integral component of the control arm to reduce the number of parts. To this end, it is the objective of the present invention to design a control arm within the framework of a parts-sharing strategy in such a way that it is suitable for mounting on both sides of a vehicle. Finally, it is the objective of the present invention to create a commercial vehicle with an improved axle suspension. The foregoing problem is solved by an axle link with brake caliper bracket for a vehicle axle having the features of claim 1, by an axle suspension of a vehicle axle for a vehicle according to claim 9, and by a commercial vehicle having the features of claim 10. Further advantages, features and details of the invention will become apparent from the dependent claims, the description and the drawings. The axle link with brake caliper holder according to the invention for a vehicle axle, comprising a base body with at least one link arm and with an axle receiving section for receiving an axle body, includes the technical teaching that an adapter body in the form of an axle sleeve encompassing the axle body has an insertion side for insertion into the axle receiving section and the brake caliper holder is designed on the side opposite the insertion side. In contrast to the one from the DE 10 2007 051 501 A1 In a known axle assembly, in which axle control arm sleeves for mounting on the axle tube end sections of an axle body are each integrally formed with a control arm and a brake caliper bracket, the brake caliper bracket according to the present invention is configured on an adapter body that can be connected to a base body comprising at least one control arm. Due to the at least two-part modular design of the axle control arm according to the invention, which consists of the adapter body with brake caliper and the base body with at least one control arm, the axle control arm, even with just the base body, is sufficient for the bilateral Installation of an axle suspension for a vehicle axle suitable for a vehicle. By inserting the adapter body, in the form of an axle sleeve encompassing the axle body at its distal ends and with the brake caliper bracket formed thereon, into the receiving section of the base body, the axle link according to the invention can be completed, whereby the axle link thus assembled conti
