Description
Technical field The present description relates to a food preparation device designed for at least positive-locking attachment to the upper end of a hollow profile of a fire tube. The device serves, in particular, to utilize the heat energy emanating from such a fire tube for heating, cooking, or keeping food warm. Furthermore, the following description relates to a fire tube for generating a column of fire within a substantially vertical hollow profile, incorporating the food preparation device. The fire tube is understood as a system that combines controlled combustion, preferably of solid fuels such as pellets, with a functional cooking or grilling area at its upper end. Technical background It is known that grilling devices for preparing food comprise a combustion unit for generating heat energy and a cooking element arranged above the combustion unit. In these systems, the heat source and the cooking surface usually form a single structural unit. Furthermore, devices are known in which cooking elements are positioned on separate racks or support structures above a fire. In these cases, heat transfer usually occurs through omnidirectional radiant heat or rising convection air. There is a need for grilling devices that allow for precise thermal management and a mechanically highly stable positioning of the cooking element when using concentrated, rising hot gas streams. Based on this situation, the present task is to propose a device for preparing food in which the stability at a thermally active interface and the homogeneity of the temperature input into a cooking element can be increased. Description - Technical Solution The present problem is solved by the features of the independent claim. Advantageous embodiments are specified in the dependent claims, the description, and the drawings. Where technically feasible, the teachings of the dependent claims can be combined arbitrarily with those of the main and dependent claims. In particular, the problem is solved by a device for preparing food and for at least a positive-locking arrangement at an upper end of a hollow profile of a fire tube, comprising: - a connection unit for the indirect or direct arrangement of the device on the hollow profile of the fire tube; - a housing extending at least partially in vertical and horizontal directions from the connection unit for receiving and distributing the heat energy emanating from the hollow profile; - a cooking element arranged directly or indirectly on the housing to absorb the heat energy conducted through the housing. The chosen design of the device provides a particularly effective and stable solution for grilling. The connection unit creates a defined coupling between the device and the energy source. This simplifies handling, ensuring the device remains stable even under mechanical stress from the user. Since the connection unit is designed for direct or indirect mounting on the hollow profile of the fire tube, the weight of the entire structure is safely transferred, significantly increasing operational reliability. The housing, which extends both vertically and horizontally from the connection unit, allows for targeted expansion of the hot gas flow. This feature captures the concentrated rising heat energy and distributes it over a larger area. This prevents heat from escaping unused; instead, it ensures a uniform distribution of energy, promoting even heating of the entire cooking chamber. The cooking element attached to the housing can then absorb this generated heat energy. By combining these features, it is possible to achieve a cooking element with nearly homogeneous temperatures across its entire surface. Overall, this enables the transformation of a localized heat flow into a controllable and large-area cooking zone. The following sections explain advantageous aspects and subsequently describe preferred modified embodiments. Explanations, particularly regarding advantages and definitions of features, are essentially descriptive and preferred, but not limiting, examples. If an explanation is limiting, this will be explicitly stated. Where ordinal numbers, such as "first,""second," etc., are used, for example to designate a component, an element, a process step, or a process action, these ordinal numbers are solely for differentiation in the designation and do not indicate any dependencies or sequences. This means, in particular, that a device does not need to have a "first component" to have a "second component." A device can also have a "first component" and a "third component" without necessarily having a "second component." Multiple units with the same ordinal number are also possible, for example, multiple "first components." For the purposes of this document, a fire tube is understood to be a device used to generate and guide a column of fire and the associated flow of hot gas. Such a fire tube comprises a combustion chamber for burning fuels, particularly solid fuels such as wood pellets
