Description
The invention relates to a combustion device, preferably for grilling, cooking and/or baking food, according to the preamble of claim 1. In a well-known device of this type mentioned earlier, a fire disc on the fire bowl has a large opening in the center, so that the heating surface intended for grilling is formed by a ring. This opening also serves to load the firebox with fuel and therefore must be relatively large. Furthermore, the fire base is ellipsoidal and thus limited to this ring shape. Heating surface for cooking or grilling suitable foods, such as meat or vegetables. The printed matter WO 2019/104274 Disclosing a firebox for a grill, composed of a number of flints forming the inner perimeter of the firebox, the firebox also features a grate at the bottom and a larger ash container beneath it. Additionally, a basket with radial and axial bars is provided on the inside, which, along with the grate, is removable from the inner cavity of the firebox. Furthermore, an opening is provided on the side of the firebox for introducing additional fuel. In the printed publication US 10,132,502 The grill is revealed, featuring a cooking surface on top of a grill pan and a ring-shaped attachment with handles that can be placed on top. Fuel openings are positioned along the sides of the cooking surface, and this pan-like support is placed between them. This removable attachment has a side opening, but not an opening in the grill pan itself. The invention is based on the objective of creating a combustion device of the type mentioned above which, with a simple design, is multifunctional for various preparations such as grilling, baking, cooking, etc. and is easy to use. This problem is solved according to the invention by the features of claim 1. The side access to the firebox allows for convenient loading with the desired amount of fuel, as well as the insertion of pizzas, pastries, and/or other food items, with or without the insertable stone plate. Furthermore, the burning wood or coal can be moved as needed from the outside using a slider, similar to a pizza oven, and then removed once the fire has gone out. The ash can be completely removed through this side recess. In addition, the upper heating disc provides a large grilling area, which is heated with the same fire as in the firebox and allows food to be prepared simultaneously on this heating disc and in the firebox. After removing the cover plate placed in an opening in the heating disc, this combustion device can also be used as a cooking appliance for a cooking pot or similar item placed on it. With this one or more openings, with or without a cover plate placed on top, the heat generated in the firebox can be changed or controlled. The heating disc can also be conveniently provided with an off-center opening for heat regulation, which can be closed with a cover plate. A significant advantage is the inclusion of several perforations in the heating element and at least one cover plate, formed by a series of longitudinal slots across specific areas. This results in improved air circulation for the fire in the firebox and allows the food to be grilled with the desired grid pattern on its surface. The invention also provides that the plate which can be placed on the base plate is made of stone, such as cordierite or fireclay, and can be inserted from above when the heating disc has been removed. It is very advantageous to place a dome-shaped lid on top of the fire bowl, which stands on a base; together, when the lid is in place, they form the outer shape of an antique vase, a goblet, or something similar. The invention is explained in more detail below with reference to an exemplary embodiment and the drawing. The drawing shows: Fig. 1 a perspective front view of a combustion device according to the invention with the lid open; Fig. 2 the combustion unit after Fig. 1 with the lid closed, partially shown in section; Fig. 3 a schematic front view of the combustion unit according to Fig. 1 with the lid closed; Fig. 4 a perspective side view of a variant of a combustion device according to the invention with a cover plate placed on the heating disc; and Fig. 5 a perspective front view of a combustion device according to the invention with the lid open. The combustion unit according to Figs. 1 to 3 is equipped with a fire bowl 1 with a fire chamber 8 that can be loaded with fuel such as wood, coal and/or similar. This fire chamber 8 is located between a base plate 9 arranged in the fire bowl 1 and a base plate 9. The heating disc 10 is formed at its upper edge 7. This combustion device is used for preparing food; in particular, it can be used for grilling, cooking, boiling, baking, or the like. This heating device consists of a pot-shaped fire bowl 1 with a stable base 2 and a dome-shaped lid 3 with two opposing handles 4 and a chimney opening 5. The lid 3 is hinged to the upper edge 7 of the fire bowl 1 by a hinge 6, and when in place, it forms the outer sh
