Claims (10)
- A system for fixing a closing element ( A ), such as a door or the like preferably made of glass, to a stationary supporting structure ( S ), preferably a floor, a ceiling or the upper crosspiece of a door frame, the system comprising: - at least one pair of clamping elements ( 40 ) positioned on opposite sides with respect to the closing element ( A ) to lock it; - at least one hinge device ( 1 ) interposed between said clamping elements ( 40 ), said at least one hinge device ( 1 ) comprising: - a fixed element ( 2 ) which can be anchored to the stationary supporting structure ( S ); - a movable element ( 3 ) which can be anchored to the closing element ( A ); wherein said movable element ( 3 ) includes a hinge body ( 30 ) defining a first axis ( Y' ), said fixed element ( 2 ) comprising a pin ( 20 ) defining a second axis ( X ) substantially perpendicular to said first axis ( Y' ), said hinge body ( 30 ) and said pin ( 20 ) being rotationally coupled to each other so as to rotate mutually around said second axis ( X ) between an open position and a closed position; wherein the system further comprises means ( 48 ) for the mutual coupling of said clamping elements ( 40 ); wherein said hinge body ( 30 ) is of the box-like type with an upper surface ( 31 ), each of said clamping elements ( 40 ) comprising a lower surface ( 41 ) facing said upper surface ( 31 ) of said hinge body ( 30 ); wherein said hinge body ( 30 ) further comprises a pair of side surfaces ( 32 , 33 ) opposite and substantially perpendicular with respect to said upper surface ( 31 ), each of said clamping elements ( 40 ) comprising a first and a second inner side surface ( 46, 46' ) susceptible to remain facing the door ( A ) and the side surfaces ( 32 , 33 ) of said hinge body ( 30 ) respectively when mutually joining said clamping elements ( 40 ); wherein said clamping elements ( 40 ), said second inner side surfaces ( 46, 46' ) and said opposite side surfaces ( 32, 33 ) of said hinge body ( 30 ) are spaced apart from each other, characterized in that said fixed element (2) comprises a fixing plate (10) defining a third axis (Y), said fixing plate (10) comprising a first face (11) which can be anchored to the stationary supporting structure (S) and a second opposite face (12) comprising a seat (16) susceptible to house said pin (20); and in that the system further comprises means ( 47 ) for the mutual locking of said hinge body ( 30 ) and of said clamping elements ( 40 ) which include at least one pair of grub screws ( 43 ) each passing through at least one of said clamping elements ( 40 ) to abut against the respective side surface ( 32, 33 ) of said hinge body ( 30 ), so as to space the clamping elements ( 40 ) with respect to the hinge body ( 30 ) and move the closing element ( A ) with respect to the hinge body ( 30 ).
- System according to the preceding claim, wherein at least one of said second inner side surfaces ( 46, 46' ) and said opposite side surfaces ( 33 ) of said hinge body ( 30 ) includes at least one male or female element ( 32', 32" ) that be mutually engageable with at least one corresponding female or male element ( 320 ) obtained at least on the other of said second inner side surfaces ( 46, 46' ) and said opposite side surfaces ( 33 ) of said hinge body ( 30 ) for guiding and centring said clamping elements ( 40 ) during mutual coupling.
- System according to the preceding claim, wherein said at least one male element ( 32', 32" ) is obtained by means of at least one pin ( 32 ) passing through said hinge body ( 30 ) in such a way as to protrude from said side surfaces, said at least one female element ( 320 ) being at least one hole obtained at the at least one of said clamping elements ( 40 ).
- System according to one or more of the preceding claims, wherein said mutual locking means ( 47 ) include at least one spacer ( 300 ) interposed between at least one of said second inner side surfaces ( 46, 46' ) and at least one respective side surface ( 33 ) of said hinge body ( 30 ), said at least one spacer ( 300 ) having a length at least equal to the distance between said second inner surfaces ( 46, 46' ) and said opposite side surfaces ( 33 ) of said hinge body ( 30 ).
- System according to one or more of claims 1 to 4, wherein said coupling means ( 48 ) pass through said hinge body ( 30 ) so that the latter and said clamping elements ( 40 ) can be moved integrally joined to mount the door ( A ).
- System according to the preceding claim, wherein said coupling means ( 48 ) comprise at least one screw ( 45 ) passing through one of said clamping elements ( 40 ) to engage in a corresponding nut screw ( 44" ) obtained in the other of said clamping elements ( 40 ).
- System according to the preceding claim, wherein said one of said clamping elements ( 40 ) comprises at least one hole ( 44 ') for the passage of said at least one internally smooth screw ( 45 ).
- System according to the preceding claim, wherein said hinge body ( 30 ) comprises at least one hole ( 45' ) for the passage of said at least one internally smooth screw ( 45 ).
- System according to one or more of claims 1 to 8, wherein said coupling means ( 48 ) are of the removable type.
- System according to one or more of claims 1 to 9, wherein said hinge device ( 1 ) is a first hinge device which can be anchored to the floor, the system further comprising a second hinge device with a second hinge body and a second fixing plate ( 10 ) mutually coupled to each other to rotate around said rotation axis ( X ), said second fixing plate ( 10 ) defining said third axis ( Y ) and comprising at least one rear fixing hole ( 200 ) and at least three front fixing holes ( 201 ) mutually positioned and selectively engageable so that the sixth axis ( Y‴ ) defined by the rear fixing hole ( 200 ) and by the hole engaged between said at least three front fixing holes ( 201 ) coincides or does not coincide with said third axis ( Y ), so as to allow the operator to fix left and right swing doors as well as free doors.
Description
Field of the invention The present invention generally regards the technical field of hinges, and it particularly relates to a system for fixing a door, leaf or similar to a supporting structure. State of the Art Hinges for the rotary movement of a closing element, such as a door or leaf, in particular made of glass, with respect to a supporting structure, are known. Such hinges typically comprise a fixed element anchored to the supporting structure and a movable element anchored to the door, susceptible to mutually rotate with respect to each other. Examples of such hinges are known from the documents US2013000079 and AU2012101498. From IPCN107299801A a fixing system is known having all the features of the preamble of the independent claim 1. Summary of the invention An object of the present invention is to at least partly overcome the drawbacks outlined above, by providing a hinge for the rotary movement of a closing element that is highly functional and cost-effective. A further object of the present invention is to provide a system that allows the fixing of a hinge to closing elements of different thicknesses. Another object of the invention is to provide a hinge with a reduced number of components. Another object of the invention is to provide a hinge that is easy to assemble. These and other objects that will be more apparent hereinafter, are attained by a fixing system according to claim 1. Advantageous embodiments of the present invention are defined in the dependent claims. Detailed description of some preferred embodiments With reference to the aforementioned figures, herein described is a hinge 1 for the rotary movement of a closing element A, such as a leaf, a door, or the like, preferably made of glass, with respect to a stationary supporting structure S, such as a wall, a floor, a frame or the like. Preferably, the closing element A may be a glass door defining a plane π, while the stationary supporting structure S may be a floor, a ceiling or the upper part of the door sub-frame. Even though hereinafter reference will be made to a door A and a floor S, it is understood that the closing element and the stationary supporting structure may vary without departing from the scope of protection of the attached claims.
