Claims (11)
- A display apparatus comprising: a substrate (100); a plurality of display elements (OLED1, OLED2, OLED3) on the substrate, the plurality of display elements including a first display element (OLED1) configured to emit red light, a second display element (OLED2) configured to emit green light and a third display element (OLED3) configured to emit blue light; a low-reflection inorganic layer (300) on the display elements; a light-shielding layer (510) on the low-reflection inorganic layer, the light-shielding layer comprising openings (510_OP) corresponding to emission areas (EA) of the display elements; a first insulating layer (520) on the light-shielding layer (510) and comprising openings (520_OP) corresponding to the emission areas (EA) of the display elements; and a second insulating layer (530) filling the openings of the light-shielding layer (510) and the openings of the first insulating layer (520) so that the openings corresponding to the emission areas of each of the first, second and third display elements (OLED1, OLED2, OLED3) are filled with the same second insulating layer (530), wherein the first insulating layer (520) comprises a material configured to absorb light in a wavelength band of about 380 nm to about 500 nm, and the first insulating layer (520) is thicker than the light-shielding layer (510) and wherein the difference between a refractive index of the first insulating layer (520) and a refractive index of the second insulating layer (530) is from about 0.1 to about 0.2.
- The display apparatus of claim 1, wherein the light-shielding layer (510) is black, and the first insulating layer (520) is yellow.
- The display apparatus of claim 1 or 2, wherein the second insulating layer (530) is configured to selectively absorb light in a first wavelength range and a second wavelength range of the visible light spectrum.
- The display apparatus of claim 3, wherein the first wavelength range is from about 480 nm to about 505 nm, and the second wavelength range is from about 585 nm to about 605 nm.
- The display apparatus of any one of the preceding claims, wherein the second insulating layer (530) is about 2 to about 5 times thicker than the first insulating layer (520).
- The display apparatus of any one of the preceding claims, wherein the low-reflection inorganic layer (300) comprises ytterbium (Yb), cobalt (Co), molybdenum (M), titanium (Ti), zirconium (Zr), aluminum (Al), chromium (Cr), niobium (Nb), platinum (Pt), tungsten (W), indium (In), tin (Sn), iron (Fe), nickel (Ni), tantalum (Ta), manganese (Mn), zinc (Zn), germanium (Ge), or one or more combinations thereof.
- The display apparatus of any one of the preceding claims, wherein the first insulating layer (520) covers at least a part of a side surface of the opening of the light-shielding layer (510).
- The display apparatus of any one of the preceding claims, further comprising a pixel-defining layer (209) covering an edge of a pixel electrode (221) of each of the display elements and comprising an opening (OP) that exposes a central portion of the pixel electrode, wherein the pixel-defining layer (209) comprises a light-shielding material.
- The display apparatus of any one of the preceding claims, wherein a side surface of the opening of the first insulating layer (520) is in contact with a side surface of the opening of the light-shielding layer (510).
- The display apparatus of any one of the preceding claims, wherein a body portion of the first insulating layer (520) and a body portion of the light-shielding layer (510) together comprise a staircase-shaped step.
- The display apparatus of any one of the preceding claims, further comprising: a thin-film encapsulation layer (400) on the low-reflection inorganic layer; and a touch sensing layer (TSL) on the thin-film encapsulation layer, wherein the light-shielding layer (510) is on the touch sensing layer.

CROSS-REFERENCE TO RELATED APPLICATION This application claims priority to Korean Patent Application No. 10-2021-0125197, filed on September 17, 2021, in the Korean Intellectual Property Office. BACKGROUND 1. Field One or more aspects of embodiments of the present disclosure relate to display apparatuses. 2. Description of the Related Art Recently, the usage of display apparatuses has diversified. In addition, as display apparatuses have become thinner and more lightweight, the usage of display apparatuses has gradually expanded. Also, as display apparatuses are utilized in various suitable fields, the demand for display apparatuses providing high-quality images has increased. US 2020/243802 A1, US 2019/121176 A1, US 2021/0175476 A1 and US2021/0005845 A1 disclose display devices using selective color filters. SUMMARY One or more aspects of embodiments of the present disclosure are directed toward a display apparatus in which high-quality (or suitable) images may be provided by improving light efficiency and visibility. However, this objective is an example and does not limit the scope of the present disclosure. Additional aspects will be set forth in part in the description that follows and, in part, will be apparent from the description, or may be learned by practice of the embodiments of the present disclosure. According to the invention, there is provided a display apparatus according to claim 1.
