- The prompt method according to of claim 1 or 2, wherein when the first content is the first function, the operation of displaying a first interface comprises: if the operated area is the first area, obtaining a first total number of times the first function is used; and if the first total number of times is less than or equal to a first number-of-times threshold, displaying the first interface.
- The prompt method according to any one of claims 1 to 5, wherein after the displaying a first interface or starting the application program, the method further comprises: obtaining a second total number of times the first content is displayed; and if the second total number of times is greater than or equal to a second number-of-times threshold, using the first area and the second area of the startup icon as a whole to start the application program.
- The prompt method according to claim 1, further comprising: displaying a preset prompt identity in the first area.
- A terminal device (9), wherein the terminal device comprises a memory (91) and a processor (90), the memory stores a computer program that can be run on the processor, and when executing the computer program, the processor performs the steps of the method according to any one of claims 1 to 7.
- A computer-readable storage medium comprising a stored computer program, wherein when the computer program is executed by a processor of a terminal device, the terminal device is configured to perform the steps of the prompt method according to any one of claims 1 to 7.
- A computer program product, wherein when the computer program product runs on a processor of a terminal device, the terminal device is configured to performs the steps of the prompt method according to any one of claims 1 to 7.
Description
TECHNICAL FIELD This application relates to the field of human-computer interaction technologies, and in particular, to a prompt method and a terminal device. BACKGROUND With continuous iterative update of a terminal device, new functions are continuously added to an operating system and an application program of the terminal device. For example, some beautification functions are added to a camera application to enrich camera application functions. However, during actual application, many users do not actively use these new functions. Therefore, to improve usage of the new function and improve user experience, a user needs to be prompted to use the new function. To prompt a user to use a new function, in a conventional prompt method, a prompt identity is added to a function button of a new function in a function menu of an application program. For example, a red dot is added to the function button of the new function. However, it has been proved that even if the prompt identity is added to the function button of the new function, most users can easily ignore the new function. Therefore, it is difficult to improve usage of a new function of a terminal device by using the conventional new-function prompt method. EP2290925A1 discloses systems and methods for receiving information associated with a first set of processing instructions and presenting a second icon indicating a change in status of data associated with the first set of processing instructions. A user selection of one of a first icon or the second icon may then be received. The selection of the first icon may cause execution of the first set of processing instructions, whereas selection of the second icon may cause execution of a second set of processing instructions. US2016259499A1 discloses an electronic device with a display and one or more input devices: displays a first user interface that includes a plurality of user interface objects, wherein a respective user interface object is associated with a corresponding set of menu options; detects a first input that corresponds to a request to display menu options for a first user interface object; in response, and displays menu items in a menu that corresponds to the first user interface object. Displaying the menu includes: if the first user interface object is at a first location in the first user interface, displaying the menu items in a first order; and if the first user interface object is at a second location in the first user interface, displaying the menu items in a second order that is different from the first order. US2018004367A1 discloses An information processing apparatus including a display, a receiver, and a controller. The display displays a first screen including plural first icons, each being a graphical representation associated with one of plural functions, and a second icon associated with an explanatory function explaining the plural functions. The display displays, in response to selection of the second icon on the first screen, a second screen including plural third icons for providing explanatory information concerning at least some of the plural functions. The receiver receives explanatory information concerning the plural functions. In response to the receiver receiving a new explanatory information item, the controller controls the display to change a display style of a third icon related to the received new explanatory information item among the plural third icons on the second screen and not to change a display style of the second icon on the first screen. CN107168602A discloses a method and a terminal for controlling an application icon. The method comprises the steps of if detecting that a touch operation input by a user through the application icon of a preset application corresponds to a start command, acquiring position information corresponding to the touch operation, wherein the application icon is divided into at least two control areas, and each control area corresponds to a preset function; determining a target control area corresponding to the position information; determining a to-be-started target function according to a preset correspondence relation between the control area and the preset function, and the information in the target control area; and displaying an interactive interface corresponding to the target function of the preset application in response to the start command. According to the embodiment, the target function corresponding to the target control area in the preset application can be rapidly started. SUMMARY In view of this, embodiments of this application provide a prompt method and a terminal device, to resolve a problem in the conventional technology that a prompt effect for a new function of a terminal device is relatively poor, resulting in relatively low usage of the new function by a user. The invention is defined in the appended set of claims. A first aspect of embodiments of this application provides a prompt method. In this em
