Description

Technical Field The present invention relates to a water-soluble powder detergent, a liquid detergent composition comprising it and the use thereof for pre-washing and/or internal and/or external washing of vehicles or parts thereof or for washing industrial floors and/or surfaces. Background of the invention In the detergent sector, in particular in the sector of detergents for car washes or for industry in general, the use of water-based liquid detergents, generally produced and packaged in plastic packagings of 10, 25, 100, 200 or 1000 kg has been known for some time. Such a type of packages, necessary for the safe transport of liquids, involves the use of a relatively high quantity of plastic which accounts for about 5% by weight of the total product. Since this type of detergents is generally made in the production plant and only subsequently delivered to the end user by transporting (generally by road) the aforesaid packages, it is clear that not only the high quantity of plastic but also fuel cost and consumption for the transport of the aforesaid liquids (relatively heavy) are disadvantageous both from an economic point of view (costs of management and maintenance of the means of transport) and from an environmental point of view. WO 2010/076595 A1 discloses liquid cleaner concentrate compositions in the form of an aqueous thickened emulsion comprising about 15 to about 50 wt % of a source of alkalinity; about 2 to about 30 wt % of a nonionic surfactant; about 0.1 to about wt % of a water conditioning or sequestering agent, such as hydroxyethlidene diphosphonic acid, and an optional alkyl polyglucoside surfactant. CA 2 685 979 A1 discloses solidification matrices in detergents for washing vehicles and cleaning floors. US 2010/093597 A1 discloses a concentrate composition, comprising: (a) an amine oxide surfactant, (b) an alkali metal hydroxide, (c) a secondary source of alkalinity, (d) a surfactant, and (e) a chelating agent, wherein the composition is formed into a solid useful in preparing a stable, aqueous use solution. The need therefore remains in the sector to reduce the volumes of plastic packaging used and at the same time reduce the costs for the transport of large quantities of liquid detergent while reducing the total environmental impact. The present invention solves the disadvantages listed above by providing a water-soluble powder detergent, which allows to directly make in situ and when needed, liquid detergent solutions having an optimal detergent power. Furthermore, the present invention, by mixing the aforesaid powder with a polar solvent, preferably aqueous, in the appropriate quantities, allows to make detergent solutions with the desired concentrations, which can be modulated according to the specific application (i.e. pre-washing of vehicles, washing of industrial floors and/or surfaces or vehicles, interior upholstery cleaning, rim cleaning, etc.). Compared to having to purchase a different liquid detergent for each specific use, the present invention provides an advantageous system in that it can be implemented each time during the actual application and can be customised. The present invention therefore allows to reduce the volumes of detergent to be transported to the final user, thus considerably reducing the environmental impact and the costs for transport and logistics. Summary of the invention In a first aspect, the invention refers to a water-soluble powder detergent according to claim 1, comprising at least a first sequestering agent selected from tetrasodium ethylenediaminetetraacetate, methylglycine N,N-diacetic acid trisodium salt, glutamic N,N-diacetic acid tetrasodium salt, or combinations thereof; at least a second sequestering agent selected from: tetrasodium bisphosphonate 1-hydroxyethylidene, hydroxamate of an alkali metal, or a combination thereof; at least a first surfactant selected from the group of alkyl polyglucosides, at least a second surfactant selected from the alpha-olefin sulfonates group; at least an alkalising agent. The water-soluble powder detergent of the invention further comprises also at least a third surfactant selected from: C16-C18 ethoxylated alcohol having an ethoxylation degree EO ≥ 2.5 moles, sodium xylenesulfonate, alkyl sulfates, or a combination thereof. Optionally, the water-soluble powder detergent as described above may also comprise a powder fragrance and/or a powder defoaming agent. A liquid detergent composition obtainable by mixing the water-soluble powder detergent described above with a polar solvent, preferably an aqueous solvent, more preferably water, forms a further aspect of the present invention. For the purposes of the present invention, said liquid detergent composition is preferably to be understood as an aqueous composition, or, even more precisely and preferably as an aqueous solution. According to a particularly preferred embodiment, said powder detergent is mixed with said polar solvent, preferably with said
